-Riley

I was tossing and turning. I couldn't sleep because I kept hearing a name being called. 'Walcott.' I sat up and screamed. Derek grabbed me and pulled me in his arms. I looked at him. "More people are dying." I said. He ran his hand through my hair and rocked me back and forth until I fell asleep.

The next day, was lacrosse tryouts. And the freshmen were kicking our asses. Scott was worried about being team captain and since Jackson wasn't here anymore, there had to be a co-captain. I cheated yes, but I wasn't the only one.

"Hey Liam, wanna explain to us what that was out there?" Stiles asked as we walked up to Liam. He looked extremely confused. "What do you mean?" He asked. "That little display. Your little circus act." Stiles said. "What circus act?" He asked. "You caught literally every shot." Stiles said. "I was the goalie." He said. "Not a single shot got passed you kid." Stiles said. "You're a freshman right?" Scott asked. "Yeah. I transferred from Devenford Prep." Liam said. He heart rate increased. I looked at Scott and Sam. "You transferred?" Sam asked. "Yeah." He said as his heartbeat jumped. He's lying. "No, you got kicked out didn't you?" Scott asked. "Kicked out, transferred, what do you guys care? I came here to play lacrosse. You guys could use a couple more good players right?" Liam asked. "Nope." Stiles said. "Actually, we could sort of use a couple." I said. Liam looked at me. "Okay, so how did you get this good? Or did this just suddenly happen overnight?" Stiles asked him. I looked at him with the evilest glare ever. "Stiles." Scott called. "I learned from my dad and made team captain as a Sophomore. Like you." Liam said to Scott. "And yeah, I am just that good." He said to Stiles.

I was walking down the hall and I ran into Liam. "Hey, sorry about that." He said. "No problem." I said with a smile. "I'm Liam." He said as he stuck out his hand. "Riley. I'm Scott and Sam's little brother." I said as I shook his hand. "Cool." He said. I heard the familiar heartbeats of my brothers and the Yukimuras. I felt Scott pull me by my jacket. "Gotta go." I called out.

"An axe murderer?" I asked. "A family murdering axe murderer." Stiles said. "I already heard about it." Scott said. "How?" Stiles asked. "My mom called us. She didn't want us to hear about it on the news." Sam said. "Then why the hell was I excluded from it? Am I like the invisible child now?" I asked. "Riley, shut up. Mom probably had to get back to work." Sam said. "That's great." Stiles said referring to Scott's earlier comment. Stiles was trying to get us to go check it out, but we all said no, even Kaige.

We went to our separate classes. I laid my head down and closed my eyes as I got this killer headache. I saw glimpses of this man. He was bald, no facial hair at all, including eyebrows. He had dark colored eyes, but the one thing that terrified me the most, was the fact that he had no mouth.

Startled, I woke up and Alex put his hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay?" He asked me. "I'm fine." I mumbled.

My brothers and I got ready for the try outs. It seemed like Liam and my brothers were in a constant race to beat each other.

Scott and Stiles were using the longsticks and it was Liam's turn to try and score a goal. Well, this all ended badly, resulting in Liam breaking his leg as Scott flung him over his shoulder.

"Liam!" i screamed as I threw my helmet off and ran towards him. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah I'm fine." He lied. "Liam, your leg is broken." I said. He looked at me. "We should get him to the nurse." Stiles said. Scott, Sam, Stiles and I took Liam off of the field.

We got to the hospital and there was my mom. "Hi Mom." I said with a smile. "Hey mom." Scott said quietly.

She got Liam in a wheelchair and he was taken. I followed my mom and sat outside his room. Liam was telling his dad about what happened. I walked in after his dad left. "Hey. Are you feeling any better?" I asked as I walked up to him. "Still hurts like all hell." He said. "There was this thing my grandpa used to do when one of us kids were hurt." I told him as I walked closer to him. I put my hand on his shoulder. "Do you trust me?" I asked. He nodded. "Bright light, Shining light: Heal thou hurts with all thy might." I mumbled. Secretly, I was taking his pain away. "Wow. How'd you do that?" He asked. "It's a family secret." I laughed. He smiled at me. "You're a good friend McCall." He said. "Santiago McCall." I said. "I took both parent's last names." I added. I was walking away when I started feeling lightheaded. "Riley, are you okay?" Liam asked. "Yeah. I'm fine." I lied. I took a few steps and I fell. "Help!" Liam yelled. Scott ran in the room. "What's wrong with him?" Scott asked. "Nothing. I just fell, I'm fine." I said. "We have to find him." Scott mumbled in my ear as he helped me up. "Who?" I asked. "Sean. Sean Walcott." He said.

We ran for the elevator but it had already closed. We ran up the stairs when we heard our mom scream. Scott and I roared from down the hallway. Scott ran towards him and I shot an arrow at Sean. Scott tried fighting Sean, but he was too strong at the moment. We went towards our mom. "Are you alright?" I asked. "I'm fine boys, just go get that son of a bitch." She said. We ran in the direction after him.

We heard a scream. "Liam." I said. We were led to the roof to see Sean holding Liam. "We can help you with whatever it is." Scott said. "Wendigos don't need help. We need food!" Sean yelled as he threw Liam. I shot another arrow at Sean as Scott went for Liam. Sean went after Scott and I went after him. Sean was holding Scott's arms and I jumped on his back. I clawed at his back and it did nothing. Scott did something that would probably doom us all; in order to save Liam from falling off the building, Scott bit Liam. I heard the wind whipping around a blade and moved. Sean was impaled by a tomahawk? I turned to look where it came from and there was the man I saw in my sleep earlier; the man with no mouth. The man looked at us and held a finger up to where his mouth would be. I heard Liam crying in pain and I ran over to him. I ripped the sleeve off of my jacket and wrapped it around his arm where Scott bit him. "Liam. Liam! You have to stay still." I said as I ran back from the stairwell with the first aid kit. "Why'd he bite me?" He asked. "Because if he didn't you would've fallen off of the building." I said. He looked completely sad and I looked at Scott, knowing that now, we have a Beta.
