I was in a chocolate shop, holding hands with a little boy. I was purchasing chocolates just for myself, because I am an adult. This child came up to me and said that he had become separated from his mother. He asked if he could hold my hand until his mother arrived. The other families that came in and out smiled and awwwwed at us. Let me make this clear now. I do not like children. At all. I don't know what to do with them. They cry and break things. But I couldn't just say, "hey kid, scram, I don't like you." That would be horrible. So there we were, holding hands, browsing for chocolate. The bell on the door signaled someone coming in.
"Adrian!" Someone yelled. I looked over to my left and saw a young woman standing there, close to tears. She bent down and held out her arms, which the little boy jumped into. "I'm so glad you're alright. This crowd is too big for us to be out!", she told her son. She glanced up at me and recognition ignited her features. She gasped and stood up. "You are that man! The one that helped me that day. Oh my gosh! I killed your best friend! Oh lord I'm going to hell! Please forgive me!", she begged me. I stared at her wide-eyed. Oh yeah. She's the woman in the carriage who hit Matthias. I gave her a polite smile, "of course. It wasn't your fault. I'm just glad that you and your son are alright."
I gently grabbed her hand and brought it to my lips, giving it a kiss. Her face flushed, and she brushed her hair out of her face. "Thank you thank you. I'm Elizabeth Sanford and this is my son Adrian", she told me. "Nice to make your acquaintance", I told her. She smiled at me, and looked around awkwardly. She was very pretty, with golden hair and blue eyes. Beautiful blue eyes. She probably feels horrible for what happened. I should do something to show her that it's in the past. "Would you like to go out to lunch?", I asked her. She looked up, and hesitated. "I-I guess. But Adrian has to nap in the afternoon", she said. I nodded, and offered my arm to her. Blushing again, she grabbed my arm and out we went.

We were eating lunch. Adrian was ecstatic over the small pond with colorful fish in the middle of the restaurant. He was squealing and laughing. Which, in return, made me laugh. "Hello Lestat", I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Edward standing there. I nodded in greeting, and introduced him to Elizabeth. "Saty's birthday is coming up, so next week we are having a small ball for her. Both of you are invited. No gifts required", Edward said. Elizabeth look excited at the idea of a party, while I was just reluctant. I hated parties. Nevertheless, I agreed. "Sure, we will be there." Edward smiled, "great! I will see you then." The main reason for my attending the party is so that I can ask Edward and Saty about Dylan. Something is definitely off.
