Earlier . . .
"The plan's doing excellent." Said General Hux, admiring the view of chaos through the window, "I'm going to take a stroll,"
"Can I see what's happening outside?" Sinfray asked out of curiosity as to what was happening.
General Hux nodded in delight as he extended a hand to lead her to the village.
As she stepped out of the ship, she immediately saw the horrific events that were happening right in front of her. She'd became aware of the screams of terror let out by the village people as storm troopers ransacked their homes and burned the structures to the ground. But the worst part of all was seeing the village people, they quivered in fear, they were defenseless and terrified of what would happen. Children desperately held on to their parents in fear. Some ran to try and escape them but were shot on sight.
The rest who were all gathered up by the storm troopers kneeled before her, begging her for mercy until a loud voice yelled, "She's a murderer! She did this! The others must know of her evil intentions! She must die!" Soon, it was followed by a series of insults and protests against her.
But then all of them went silent.
Kylo Ren stood with his unsheathed saber, he was ready to attack.
Kylo was furious, so furious that she feared he'd be the one to wipe them out one by one. But instead he gave a command to his Storm troopers. A command that had been stuck in her head, playing on repeat after he'd said it. "We have no need of the villagers, dispose of them." Kylo said emotionlessly as he stood beside her.
Guns at position, with a stomp of General Hux's foot, they'd fired continuously. Lifeless bodies dropping to the ground like rain pouring from the sky.
This wasn't what she expected. Being at the dark side – it wasn't about evil. But she was far too late to realize that. They wanted control. They chose her to be the leader. She'd proven herself many times as a great leader, her skills in strategy alone were enough but people listened to her, people believed in all she could do, best of all they loved her just as much as they feared Kylo.
She'd seen enough and slowly made her way back into the ship, desperately holding back the tears that had already formed.
Present . . .
For the past few hours, she'd stayed in her room. It was too quiet. She could hear the voices, the screams, the whispers. It drove her insane, the guilt consumed her.
She was a leader which was exactly why they needed her. They needed a public figure, a voice to make their sinister intentions appear good to the public. She could escape, but that would mean the loss of all her loved ones and 4 genocides.
...
Kylo's view of what had happened was very different. She had no idea of the truth, it was better if she just played along. His plan was kept a deep secret; he'd even used the force to protect it. He had to go back; he had to go back for her.
The attack they'd done to the planet of Irlonea was supposed to go a different way. He wouldn't admit it but the blame was on him this time, he'd forgotten to tell Hux not to let Sinfray out. He doubted that Sinfray would listen but he had hopes for it at least.
Earlier . . .
He stood by the shadows going undetected; the village was surrounded by tall trees which provided him with good camouflage.
An explosion was heard in the distance, hiding underneath the shadows of the trees, he ran to where the sound had come from. It was them. The first explosion went off.
The doors of the ship descended and revealed an army of storm troopers followed by General Hux whom accompanied Sinfray. Her face twisted into a look of bitter regret as she watched the villagers scramble. The troopers gathered them all in one area.
All quivered, children cried, so did adults, all desperately begged but as they saw Sinfray, they'd gotten on their knees, begging her to spare their lives. She couldn't. It wasn't her call.
But one villager had started to yell at Sinfray which caused an outrage, it was obvious that he wasn't afraid of what would happen after, the villager had already accepted his bloody fate. Hux shouldn't have let her out. Now that the people saw her, they would probably find out about her new position in the dark side which wasn't to be revealed. They needed her to be secret. Revealing that she'd part of the dark side would mean that she wouldn't be able to persuade planets and people – it was the reason she was even taken in.
Rushing out of the forest, he unsheathed his light saber, the villagers went silent. His presence scared them enough. He had to delete the witnesses; they still needed her to be kept a secret. "Dispose of them." He said bitterly.
Present . . .
He soon found Sinfray at the edge of her room, she was curled up into a ball and weeping. Bloody red locks of hair covered her face, her pale skin glowed as the dim light touched her arms. "Don't be so weak." He muttered at her.
"Sadness," she got up and straightened herself out, "is not a weakness. Kylo Ren, you of all people should know that."
"What makes you think you know me?" He said intimidatingly.
"I know enough to have an idea of what kind of heartless man you are; you killed Han Solo! You think you're so scary? You're not fooling anyone with that ridiculous mask!" She said out of frustration.
He made his way to her until he had her cornered, her back was already pressed against the wall, it was as if she could see his eyes through the mask. "Who are you to talk to me like that?"
"I'm Sinfray Raya, that's who, I rule over 4 planets, does that not intimidate you?" She stepped forward, this time trying to scare him.
"I would be intimidated but the fact that I've captured you," he pushed her against the wall, "is not frightening at all." And with that, he stormed out.
