The ship was silent aside from the sound of Sinfray constantly mumbling to herself. They were headed to the Starender Base.

It had bothered her that Kylo kept the King's crown as a trophy of their win.

Earlier...

Kylo had sent a broadcast all over the planet. When all of the planet's inhabitants have seen what has become of the King, the council on the on the other side of the planet made plans. They needed a steady ruler.

Sinfray then sent a broadcast trying to convince the people she was there to help, the video showed how she'd "fought" against the storm troopers, how she drove them away after the King's death.

Moments later, a ship landed before her, the council members approached one by one.

Now...

"To the Queen." Hux said as he touched glasses with Sinfray. Both Phasma and Kylo agreed that it wasn't much of an accomplishment which was why Hux and Sinfray decided to have a small celebration of their own.

When Hux had left, she sat down by the window, sometimes she found herself glancing at the trophy of her own. It was a necklace, Makkabeans, unlike the Aloreans Sinfray had grown up among, were different, it was beautiful how they'd thought that a sign of a ruler must be close to their heart. Well at least she did. Kylo thought of it as silly. That symbolism didn't matter.

I don't get it, she thought, why must he be so emotionless? To think he was using the dark side of the force.

Sinfray was once misunderstood. She'd been through all the dark secrets of a royal family.

"Sit up straight, be composed." Her mother used to say. "Be intimidating, be smart. No one likes a weak ruler." All her mother's words were both true and useful, it was the kind of knowledge that came with a price. Unfortunately, the price was her childhood.

But what she didn't know was that Kylo was raised differently. Raised to be just as strong and independent yet in different ways. He was loved, he was cherished, and best of all they were proud of him.

Sinfray had lived a constant failure in the eyes of her parents. She was talented in many ways, she was graceful, poised, and creative. Though creativity may have been seen as an advantage, her family wasn't very fond of straying from tradition. She was the revolutionary leader of Alore, she'd bent the rules of her parents, the moment she'd been declared queen, she'd made her own rules.

But being queen came with a price as well. It wasn't exactly paid for but after the passing of her parents, the price was left for her to pay...

Or more like his to pay...
