"Mom, this is Edgar and Alan Frog, they're going to be my dinner guests." Sam said, me grimacing as our mom quickly pulled away from her kiss with Max. "Oh...erm...you didn't say that you were having dinner guests."
"Well we could eat some sandwiches in the living room-"
"No it's fine. There's plenty for everyone." She said, placing more plates onto the table. I turned, my eyes locking with Edgar as he gave me a small nod, me flashing him a small smile before watching him walk around the table, sitting down beside Max, with me directly beside him. Alan and Sam sat on the other side alongside my mother. The atmosphere as we ate was so thick that you could have cut clean through it with a knife, the silent room almost killing me. We had a plan...weather or not it was going to work was a different story...I bit my bottom lip nervously before suddenly feeling a hand being placed on my knee. I turned to look at Edgar, his eyes laced with concern as I gave him a weak smile, him squeezing my knee in a comforting manner before removing his hand. I looked up, Sam eying us from the others side of the table, frowning at us just as our mom spoke out. "Boy! Seems like someone has bad breath." She said, all of us immediately looking at Max who frowned, shifting uncomfortably in his chair. "Nanuck, get down." She said, me sighing as I tapped my upper leg. "Come on baby, over here." I said, him quickly getting down and tottering over to me, resting his head on my thigh. "Want some cheese?" Sam asked, holding up the small pot as I gently stroked Nanuck's head, quickly loosing my appetite. "Please." Max said, taking the pot as we all watched carefully. "He grated it himself." Mom said proudly, me watching carefully as he spread the 'cheese' all over his spaghetti. He wrapped it around his fork, me taking in a sharp breath as he ate it, his eyes growing wide as he began to choke, my eyes growing wide as my mother gasped, gently patting his back.
"Oh my god! What's wrong?!"
"It's not cheese! It's Garlic!"
"Bet you hate garlic don't ya!?" Sam exclaimed, glaring at him as Max finally cleared his throat. "No I like Garlic, it's just...a bit much." He said, me frowning as me and Edgar shared a look, Sam frowning before grabbing some water. "Here, want some water?" He asked before pretending to trip and throwing it all over Max's lap, making him jump out of the chair in shock, all of us getting up to. "Oh my god Sam! What is the matter with you!?" Mom exclaimed, grabbing a cloth as we all got to our feet, me quickly flicking the light as Sam moved to stand beside us. "Dude, he's not glowing."
"I think I can see that!" I hissed back, Edgar flicking on the light just to see Sam stood in front of Max with a mirror, him jumping backwards at his own reflection. "Sam! What is wrong with you tonight?!" Mom exclaimed, staring at him in disbelief as Max cleared his throat. "I think I know what's going on here." He said, all of us growing silent as Sam frowned. "You do?"
"Yes...listen...you too Scarlett." He said, me frowning as he continued. "I don't want to replace your father, or take your mother away from you. I just want to be your friend." He said, me grimacing at his words as mom glared at me. "Goodnight Lucy..." He said before leaving the room, Mom sighing before looking at me and Sam. "Thanks a lot."
"I'm sorry mom..." Sam said, me sighing as Nanook barked at me."I know babe, bastard stinks of bullshit..." I mumbled, Nanuck whimpering slightly as I gently knelt down, stroking him as he sat close to me. "Well if it's not Max...who could it be?" Alan asked, me sighing as I looked up at the three of them. "How are we meant to know? It could be anyone..." I whispered, defeat finally settling in as I stood up, Nanuck whining slightly as I walked off up the stairs and into my room, locking the door shut...

"Oh come on Scarlett. There has to be something else-"
"Well I hope you can think of something Sammy because I'm all out of ideas!" I exclaimed, waving my arms in the air as Sam sighed, shaking his head as he opened the cupboard, placing another one of Grandpa's taxidermy 'presents' inside. "We'll think of something." He said, closing the cupboard. I let out a yell as I saw Micky stood behind it, his eyes hollowed and dark, Sam quickly staggering backwards as Michael looked at us. "It's okay Sam...Scarlett...I know who I am now..." He said, his voice husky as I gulped, slowly backing against the wall. "Don't hurt us Mike. We're good kids, with good grades-"
"And we're your family..." I added, Michael opening his mouth to speak when suddenly his name echoed from the wide open window, making us all frown. "Michael...Michael!" Someone called, all of us making our way over and leaning out to see a girl stood there, calling up to us. "David told me what happened; can I come up?" She called, Michaels eyes narrowing as he shook his head. "NO!" He called, grabbing me and Sam and pulling us far away from the window. "Listen to me. The both of you stay in here. Lock your doors and your windows-"
"But Mike-"
"AH!" I exclaimed, seeing that the girl was now at the window, staring straight at Michael."She's one of them!" Sam exclaimed, running over to the bed and hiding under his blanket the way a child would; as I stood against the wall, my eyes wide in fear. "You knew...you know where they took me tonight..."
"Yes..." She whispered, walking towards Michael as I watched, terror freezing my entire body, making me unable to move. "It wasn't wine they gave me to drink that night...it was blood-"
"You drank someone's blood!?" Sam exclaimed, me gulping slightly as I watched the pair. "I tried to warn you-"
"You were meant to kill me last night..."
"You were meant to be my first...it was what David wanted-"
"Whose David!?" Sam exclaimed, me glaring at him as the girl continued to speak. "Now I'm one of them-"
"NO! You're like Laddie and me...and I wanted to tell you that it's not too late for you..." She whispered, Michael scoffing before glaring at her. "Why did you come here!?" He exclaimed, grabbing onto her arms as a tear slipped down her cheek. "I wondered if you could help Laddie and Me..." She whispered, Michael staring at her as she ripped her arms free, quickly disappearing out the window."Star! Wait!" He yelled, running towards the window, quickly followed by me and Sam. "Don't kill anyone until we get back to you!" He exclaimed, me frowning as he ran back towards the bed, grabbing the vampire magazine and the phone, me smirking as Michael frowned. "What are you doing?"
"We've got connections." Sam said, me giggling as I sat down on the bed beside him, my eyes glittering as he dialled the number of the Frog Brothers...
