Chapter 21

Amy's POV

I didn't see them anywhere so I went back to the table and played a game on my phone. Then I saw Caleb in the corner with Alyssa. What's he doing with her? Putting my phone away I stormed over to them. Well not exactly. I got close enough to them so I could hear and see everything.

"Come Alyssa please", Caleb said.

"If you do something for me I won't tell", she said.

"What?", he asked.

"This", she replied.

Before he could ask she pressed her lips against his. He didn't even try to fight her off. Instead he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer. How dare he? That cheater! I stormed back to the table with a million questions in my head. Why would he do this? Have they been having an affair all this time? Soon someone on the microphone came up to announce prom king and queen. Honestly I didn't wanna hear it.

"Alright everyone it's time to announce prom king and queen. So first up prom king. The winner is Caleb", Lia said.

Everyone cheered and applauded. I bet you I'm gonna win since I'm his girlfriend.

"The prom queen. Amy Monroe. So now I'll have the happy couple come up here and then they can have their first dance", Lia said.

I walked up the stage and Caleb followed. Then grabbed my hand while everyone continued to clap and cheer. We got off the stage and he took my hand. I'm still mad at him but I wanna dance. The song Enchanted by Taylor swift came on and we began dancing. Then I saw Alyssa smiling as she walked up on stage.

"Excuse me everyone I have an announcement", she said.

The music cut off and we all looked at her. I had this feeling that something wasn't right.
