Caleb's POV
I watched her leave the room on the verge of tears. She really can't be moving on. Maybe I just need to accept it. I reached in my pocket to grab my phone and called my mom. I told her what happened in school and she was here in a matter of minutes.
"Caleb are you okay?", she asked.
"Yeah I'm fine", I replied.
"How did this happen?", she asked.
"Tyler and I got into a fight. I was lucky Amy was there to help me before my leg got worse", I replied.
"Amy was there?".
"Yes mom".
"Caleb you're lucky she was there to help. If she hadn't noticed your leg was bleeding then something bad could've happened".
"I know".
"I'm just glad you're okay".
The nurse came in and took my mom out the room. What could they be talking about? Is it something bad? A few seconds later they came in and my mom had a worried look on her face.
"Everything okay?", I asked.
"No. When the lady in the ambulance checked your heart, the thing in your leg. Well when you fell earlier, it was moved", the nurse replied.
"Moved? Moved where?", I asked.
"Your heart. Now you'll need heart surgery. If we don't do it in the next 24-48 hours, you could die", the nurse said.
