Chapter 8: The 2 Weeks Break

Months pass and term 1 ends which meant that everyone will have to do a playing exam. A playing exam is when the students have to play their instruments in front of the teachers who give us a random music sheet on the spot that we have to play for them. I've been doing this for years but I still get nervous. At lunch I'm sitting with Habibi and Lola
"Ughhhh"
"what's wrong?"asks me Habibi.
"It's the frikin playing exam, it stresses me out every time and I get nervous" I plop my head on the table.
"And every time you do wonderful" says Lola as she eats her sandwich. "Don't worry Indie, you're so good I mean you always look like you're enjoying it too" says Habibi.
"That's cause she always is" says Lola. "Yea I guess so"
"look term 2 ended and the 2 weeks break is coming up which means vacation time" says Habibi as she smiles.
"Oh yeaaa I forgot about that" says Lola.
"We can all go to the festival too!" I say excitingly.
"Oh my gosh yes, we can invite the boys too" says Lola.
"Yes that'd be great, and I'll invite 47" Says Habibi as she grins.
"Oh my gosh you guys are soooo gonna make out again" I say as I laugh.
"Hehe I'm getting some" says Habibi as she grins.
We all laugh.
"Ok then I'll ask the boys to come" says Lola as she texts Michael.
A ding goes meaning Lola got a reply back from Michael.
"He says yes but Ryan isn't coming??" "What? Why?" I say.
"I don't know maybe he doesn't feel like it... Awe it would have been fun with all of us together" says Lola as she frowns. "Ohhh I know" Habibi grins.
"Why don't you ask him Indie?" "Me? I don't think he'll come"
"nah I'm sure he will, go text him" says Habibi as she looks at my phone.
"uhh ok" I text him:
Me: hey wanna come to the festival with us on the week off?
Ryan: huh? You're going?
Me: yeaaaa, I'll be lonely cuz you know Lola and Habibi will be with their BF and I don't wanna be alone. Plzzzzz come plzzzzzz
Ryan: ok ok I'll come
Me: yay!!! Ok c ya
Ryan: where r u though?
Me: Cafeteria
Ryan: ok I'm coming
Me: kk
"He said yes"
"I knewwwww it" says Habibi.
"Wow haha he sure likes you" says Lola.
"Psh no he doesn't" I say.
"Suuure" Habibi grins.
"Hey guys!" I hear a familiar voice and turn around.
"Hey Ryan!" I say.
"What's up" he says as he sits beside me.
"Nothing just talking about who likes Indie" says Habibi as she grins.
"Oh? And who is this person who likes her?" Asks Ryan curiously.
"It's a secret" says Lola as she puts a finger on her lips.
".... Whatever" says Ryan looking irritated *Picture on top*

I think to myself of why he must be irritated. Does he like me? Could it be? The bell rings and we all go to our classes. The day ended fast and before I knew it, the 2 weeks break was finally here.
