Chapter 10: Snow

I felt something cold drop on my cheek. I look up to see white snow flakes falling from the sky. I start to chill a bit, I should've brought my jacket. Suddenly I start to feel warm and realize that there is a coat around my shoulders.
"It's gonna get cold soon, you should wear this" Ryan says as he places his coat on me.
"What about you?" I ask with a worried expression on my face.
"I can't let a girl freeze, especially who's wearing a dress" he says smiling and says "I have a long sleeve under too so don't worry"
I smile back and say
"Thank you"

We go back to the meeting place to watch the fireworks.
"Hey guys!!!" Says Lola as she waves her hand up in the air.
"What took you so long?" Asks Habibi as she grins.
"Nothing" Ryan says to not talk about the incident earlier.
"Look guys!" 47 yells out as he points towards the coloured sky. It's the fireworks.
"Let's go to the balcony at the edge over there, we'll be able to see more there" Says Michael as he starts walking.
"Woooow so pretty" Habibi says
"Just like you" 47 says looking at Habibi
"Pff so cheesy" Habibi says as she nudges 47 and smiles.
Everyone starts to laugh.
"You okay?" Ryan asks for only me to hear.
"Yea I'm good thanks"
I actually feel better now thanks to my friends and Ryan. I smile and look into the coloured sky with amazement. Ryan smiles slightly as he looks at me.

"That was so fun!" Lola says excitingly.
"Guysss this was chill" says 47
We were all at the parking spot to where our car's were parked.
"Ok bye babe" Michael says as he kisses Lola on the lips.
"You guys go on ahead, I'm going at 47's house" Habibi says with a grin
"Haha have fun you two" I say rolling my eyes with a smile.
"Oh we will" Habibi gives a wink as she leaves with 47.
I go towards Ryan and say
"Here" As I hand his coat to him.
"No problem" he says with a smile and says "you feeling better now?"
"Yea I am thanks again"
"Good... I had fun today" he says as he slightly scratches his head.
"Me too, thanks for coming. I don't know what I would of done if you weren't here"
"So you enjoyed my company?" Ryan says with a smile
"...yes, yes I really did" I smile
Ryan blushes and says
"...You know..."
"Yea?"
"...nothing never mind"
"??"
Few minutes later, Michael and Ryan leave and Lola is driving me home.
"So...anything happen?"
"What makes you say that?"
"I'm your best friend... We know something is up" Lola says as she drives.
"We?"
"Habibi too duh"
"Oh yea..."
"So? What happened? Was it Ryan?"
I could see Lola's worried expression and say
"Well..."
I tell her what happened and she looked shocked. She pulls over to the side and hugs me
"Oh my gosh...Indie..."
She starts to cry a bit.
"Woah why are you crying??"
I remember that Lola is the "mom" of our group. I hug her back and say
"I'm sorry I made you worry"
*sniff sniff* "I swear I'm gonna get Michael to beat them up and Habibi will get 47"
She says as she looks at me after letting me go.
"It's okay Lola... I'm fine seriously... Thank you"
She smiles and starts to drive.
I smile thinking what wonderful friends I have.
