You and Dipper's Age: 15

~•~Your POV~•~

I don't wish to be everything to everyone, but I do wish to be something to someone.

But, not all wishes come true.

Life isn't a fairytale,

I found out the hard way.

There's no princess, no princes, no talking animals-

NO true love.

Even if some people say 'it's love at first sight' or 'it's true love'-

It's not.

Ever since I met the boy of my dreams when I was five, every night I wished to be with him,

To be my Prince Charming.

I read to many fairytale stories.

But eventually when I got older, I knew that this wish thing would never come true.

He never noticed me more as a friend.

Heck, I'm not even a close friend with him.

I only know him through Mabel Pines, aka my best friend forever and ever.

He isn't popular in school,

But he's not an outcast.

He's not that much of a geek, even if he is captain of the chess club team.

And he's not a sport/jock person, even if he is on the soccer team, which might I add he is—surprisingly—amazing at.

We have most classes together.

I always find myself staring at him.

It's even more embarrassing when he catches me,

Which happens a lot.

One night I was in my room, day dreaming about Dipper, again.

When something sparkling came flying through my window.

It scared me at first and I yelped.

But then I calmed down as I saw it just staying there, in the middle of the air floating.

It was quiet for about a minute, until it speaked to me.

Well, all I heard was a tiny bell jingle.

I gave the thing a confused look.

The thing stopped 'talking' and looked around.

It flew over to my notebook that was on my desk.

It pulled out a wand and did some spell, making it fly open to an empty page.

I slowly got off my bed, walking over to my desk.

I got a closer look at the thing, and finally noticed what it was-

A fairy.

No freakin' way.

She used her wand to write out words.

I glanced over at the notebook.

Her handwritting was fancy script, but I was able to read.

'I am a fairy who has come to grant you a wish! I come to those who truly believe in true love and wishes!'

I looked at her.

"I'm sorry, but you've must have mistaken me to someone else. I clearly stopped believing in that stuff a long time ago." I said.
