You and Dipper's Age: 15

3rd POV

You've been friends with Madison for about a few years now. Since middle school, to be exact. You met her when you were paired up together for a school project back in 7th grade. You both had a lot in common with each other, to your obsession over the mysteries in Gravity Falls, to you both being weirdos, to being complete nerds slash geeks. So yeah, you two hit it off and are known for being best friends.

High school came along. You two are still best friends, but Madison had started to act more... different. You still loved her and all, but she just wasn't acting like herself. She started to where caps more often, and her taste in clothing had shifted from some-what girly clothing to boy's clothes. Plus, she's been putting her hair in braids, once in a while she'd put her long brown hair up in a bun and hide it with her Pinetree cap. The reason why she told you she wore caps was to cover her Big Dipper birthmark. And her explanation for her change in clothing style was that "guys clothes are more comfortable".

And because of this sudden change... she was bullied. A lot. She'd get picked on in the hallways of school, outside of school, even her parents would question why she was wearing that "nonsense" and saying "you look too much like a guy than a girl". Madison acted as if she didn't care what they'd say to her, but really, she was slowly falling into a deep hole of depression. She was slowly losing any hope to be alive. She felt as if you and Mabel, her twin sister, were the only people hat were there for her.

But... she thinks sometimes you two aren't there for her either.

Madison was starting to give up. She can't take the harsh bullying anymore. She can't take the judging looks her parents and other adults give her. She can't accept who everyone wants her to be. You knew she was slowly slipping away from everyone. You knew she was pushing she cared about most away from her. You always saw how she'd act all tough and brace to defend herself, but really, she'll end up calling you later, crying to you over the phone.

"I'm getting so sick of being bullied."
"What did I ever do to deserve this?"
"Why does everyone seem to be against me?"
"Why do I exist?"

Your heart would break more and more each time she'd say all of this. You made sure that she felt loved and appreciated. You did as much as you could before she could make any mistake that she'd regret for the rest of her life.

But, at the moment... you were running to her house, on the brick of tears. You had gotten a text messages a few hours after school. You were in your room doing homework. You didn't check the text right away, not thinking to much about it. When you had disinherit one sheet of your homework, that's when you checked it.
