"I can't just leave tour, babe." I told my girlfriend of four years, Breanna. "But I would if I could."
"I know, Luke, I just miss you." She admitted.
"Come visit me. You can even stay on tour with me." I suggested. "I want to see you in person, facetime isn't enough. I want to hug you and kiss you and hold your hand and fall asleep with you in my arms like I used to." All we do is FaceTime, call and text.
"I can't just put my life on hold for you, Luke."
"I'm not asking you to, you know that. You can take online classes like me, or be homeschooled."
"I want a real college experience! I didn't tell you to leave me in the first place!" Breanna screamed.
"I'm sorry, okay? I needed to do this, so we can have money when we start our family." I tried reasoning.
"When are we going to do that Luke, we're in our last year of college. I don't want start a family with someone who is never gonna be there." She snapped. I put my head down. So this is what she thinks of me. And now she doesn't want a family. "Babe, I'm sorry, that wasn't supposed to come out like that."
"I gotta go. The shows about to start." I whispered, looking up at her through the phone.
"Okay, I love you. Good luck."
"Thanks, love you too."
We hung up the call and I sighed, before throwing my phone across the room. It hit Calum in the stomach with it while he walked in. It was an accident.
"Sorry, Calum." I apologized.
"What happened this time?" He asked, plopping down on the couch next to me.
"Is it that obvious?"
"Kind of."
"She doesn't want to start a family with someone who is never gonna be there." I quoted Breanna.
"You'll be there when you start a family with her. She's emotional." He reminded me.
"I know, I wish I could be there with her instead of here." I admitted, tears coming to my eyes, but not spilling over.
"Need a hug?" He asked.
"Yeah." I answered. Calum hugged me.
"No one wants to hug you Luke." Michael joked, joining the hug.
"Aww, with out me?" Ashton joined the hug.
"So, why exactly are we hugging?" Michael asked.
I told them exactly what I told Calum. "Call her back later. Maybe she just wasn't having a good day." Ashton suggested.
"Like yesterday? And the day before? And the day before? And they day before? And the-" I was cut off by Ashton.
"We get your point. Maybe you could go see her, we don't have another show for a few days after this one. Fly back to Australia and visit her. But surprise her." He suggest.
"Alright. Let's just do this show." I stood up, they stood with me.
-After the show-
I grabbed my bags and told the boys I was heading to the airport. There was another group hug before I left.
