I'm so sorry on not updating this!!! I meant to do it a long time ago but then my friend introduced me to this anime called No. 6 so I ended up watching that. Plus I have 3 tests next Friday so I've been studying. Speaking of No. 6 I actually just finished it and all I'm gonna say is... I've never been this hurt and confused before. I NEED ANSWERS(which I'm probably never gonna get... But hey! That's why we have fanfics)!!! Anyway when I came out of my sobbing mess stage, I decided to write it.

My eyes began closing as the space between us became smaller and smaller. His lips felt so familiar, and I felt myself go back to my 12 year old self when I had confessed my love to Mika and he accepted my feelings. My eyes shot open. I pushed Mahiro away panting.

He avoided my eyes. "I'm sorry," he mumbled, getting up. The part of my brain run on instinct grabbed his hand.

"Is Mahiro your real name?" I dared to hope. I needed to know.

He looked at me, just as emotionless as the first day I was forced here. "No my real name is Mika," he announced. It was like fireworks had exploded in my. Head. He attempted to pull his hand away, but I held on for dear life. Mika leaned over me. "What about you? Is your real name Yukine?"

Before I could answer, I began hearing rumbling. Mika looked up at the shaking ceiling, and a look of terror appeared on his face. "Krul's up there he cried!" He snatched his hand out of mine and ran away.

I had to go after him. I needed to get answers. I ran after him, until something caught my eye. It was a certain dumbass evaporating vampires left and right. With him was a purple haired shorty that we had learned long ago not to underestimate. Mika momentarily forgotten, I jumped into the fight.

"Shinoa! Behind you!" I yelled as I flipped from behind her and thrust my sword through the vampire she was fighting. I could feel her eyes on me. And I didn't blame her, they probably thought that I was dead. I charged another vampire, but an arrow sprouted through the vampire's neck, and the vampire burst into a cloud of shadows.

"Riochi?!" I spluttered. He stopped to look at me wide eyes. "Yu-san," he mused. Suddenly his eyes widened and a goofy ear to ear grin spread across his face. "YU-SAN!!" He jumped into my arms and knocked me onto the ground again.

"Oi brat get off," there was Kimizuki, who thought it a good idea to pull Riochi off me. It didn't work and I began to awkwardly pat his back. Riochi burst into tears. "We thought you were dead! I'm so glad you're alive. You must have gone through so much torture," he sighed.

"Y-yeah," I stuttered. They're probably never going to believe me when I tell them what actually happened. Riochi finally let go of me, and I smirked at Kimizuki. "I've survived a vampire capture. That's one that you probably can't brag about." Of course I didn't tell him that it was fate that saved me.

" Oh shut it! I could probably escape by myself!"

"I'd like to see you try." I scoffed. There would have been a very painful rigmarole, if Riochi hadn't intervened.

"Is it even possible for you to quit fighting for just a day?" he snapped. "We've got better things to worry about!"

"I could always give them the potion again," Shinoa said innocently.

"THAT WONT BE NECESSARY!" all three boys yelled.

"Wait what happened?" Mitsuba asked.

Shinoa laughed. "Not important, do you have the anonymous note telling us yu was here?"

"Wait what?" I asked. All joking aside, Shinoa looked at me in seriousness.

"Who do you think would betray the vampires? You're our asset, having been in there."

I scratched my head. "I have an idea, but he seemed very unaware of this happening." Suddenly I remembered his surprise and terror as he went to save krul. "It must have been someone plotting against the queen." I walked toward the burning building.

"YU! What are you thinking! You can't go back in there!" Shinoa raced in front of me.

"Absolutely nothing," muttered Kimizuki. I didn't have time to bicker with him, sadly, it was always fun.

"My family is in there, I need to save him. I'll explain later." I broke into a run. So did Shinoa.

"You mean, if you survive! We didn't come all the way here to watch you die!"

"You can either support me or not, but you'll have to kill me to stop me."

I paused to hear her answer, as she sighed. The other three were running after us. "We're your family too, so we'll help you."

I grinned. "You guys are amazing."

She flipped her hair. "Well duh, now let's find your friend. I'm in charge here, so you need to tell us where to go."

Kimizuki snorted earning a typical Shinoa glare. I chuckled. Mika, wait till you meet our new family.
