BEEEEPPPPPPPPPPP ........

That was the honking of Edlyn's car. She suddenly woke up when her head banged the horn while she was dozing.

She was sweating all over.

"Oh gosh! That was a terrible dream" she thought.

Edlyn felt sleepy and dozed off in the car and dreamt her mother and father opening and standing behind the house door. That was a bad dream instead.

Now, she set her hair and got off the car and walked to the farmhouse.

Everything seemed the same way she dreamed of. The thick long trees and the huge house standing and welcoming her.

The name 'MILL HOUSE' was shining elegantly on the side of the gate. She stood infront of the door and reached to ring the bell.

But there wasn't one. All she could see was one tiny little thread hanging to the side of the door. She dragged the thread and it moved sideways.

Edlyn could not hear anything. While she was still figuring it out the door made noise. She stood still.

An old man opened the door and looked into Edlyn's eyes. He studied her for few minutes and yelled "Honey! Where are you? Honey! Honey!!"

"Who is it? Why are you yelling?"a voice came from inside. An old woman walked beside the old man and adjusted her spectacles.

She gave a quick deep look and Edlyn stood still without uttering a word. The old woman looked at the old man.

Edlyn could no longer keep quiet. "Hello! I am Edlyn. I am the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Deven Cavanaugh. I have come ...."

"How did they let you come here?"questioned the old woman before Edlyn could finish.

Edlyn looked very similar to her parents. She was their exact copy and thus her grandparents recognised her so easily.

"My parents do not know that I am here, I wanted to meet you and came all the way. I did not want it to happen like the every vacation and so I have decided to let this happen. I do not know the reasons behind your seperation and I am not bothered about them. I just want ...." she was in tears now.

"I just hope you will accept me to stay and spend some time with you, that is all I want and was missing since my childhood"she completed controlling her tears.

The old woman looked in grief at the old man. "Come inside sweetheart"said the old man. Edlyn was taken inside the farmhouse.

The inside of the house had a unique brightness. It was a three storey house. There was a huge staircase to one corner. Everything was made out of wood.

Edlyn made herself comfortable in one of the wooden chairs in the hall. Her grandparents sat infront of her. "We are happy to hear this from you, atleast you are not like your parents, heartless and," the old woman stopped as she recieved a quick sign of warning from the old man.

"We are least bothered about anyone! You are our grandchild and we love you"said the old man.

Edlyn was overwhelmed with joy and was happy to know that her grandparents liked her. She looked at her grandparents and gave a smile.

"We will talk the rest of the things later,it must have been a tiring journey for you and hope you are hungry too! Come let's have lunch" said her grandmother getting up from the chair.

Edlyn followed her grandmother to the dining. The dining table was huge. It was made of rose wood. The lunch was served and none of them talked while having lunch.
