Who is that singing happy birthday????

Edlyn was very sure that the voice did not belong to her grandfather nor Jordan.

She sat up on her bed and noticed she was shivering. Edlyn tried to hear that again, but it was gone. It could not be heard any longer.

She felt disappointed. Edlyn began to think over the incidents happening around her.

Wait!

It's not happening around me, it is happening to me.. What?? So, they all are happening to me! That mirror which injured me, the insects, a man running from something and the evil??? Now what is this happy birthday !?

Her sleep was completely disturbed now. She thought of telling her grandparents, but she did not want them to worry over her problems.

I am not going to leave this. I am sure that I will find the meaning behind everything, she thought and rested her back on the bed.

She watched the roof over top for sometime, then she was lost in deep sleep.

Help, help.... Leave me.... I cannot breathe...

Uff!!! Edlyn woke up breathing heavy., it was only a dream in which someone where holding her so hard,it was suffocating to breathe and she tried very hard to let go.

What a bad way to start off my day, she thought opening her eyes fully.

After completing her daily routines, Edlyn went downstairs. She was curious to know about the sounds she heard in the night.

"Granny! Was it someone's birthday yesterday?" she asked, but remembered that it was past 12 when she heard the sound.

"Or today?" she added. Her grandmother was confused, " No, I don't think so, there is no one I know who has birthday in this month. Why are you asking Edlyn?" She said.

Damn,what should I say she thought. "No,  I just wanted to know yours and grandpa's birth dates" she smiled.

"Oh, okay, your grandfather's is on May 7 th and mine is on July 21 st" her grandmother said and waited for few minutes.

"Okay" she said thinking.Why wasn't her grandmother asking her birth date?

May be she knows??

"Mine is on ...." Eldyn was cut off by her grandmother. "Yes, I know, your birthday is on March 2nd" she said looking her face.

"Nice, how did you know granny?" Edlyn asked in excitement. She just replied "We know Edlyn."

"Are you preparing the breakfast or just chatting?" It was her grandfather coming near to the kitchen who was listening their conversation from outside.

"Haha, grandpa, don't you worry. The breakfast is all ready" Edlyn said laughing.

They all ate scrambled eggs with toasted bread.

It was noon by the time Edlyn had her bath.
Happy birthday, the voice she heard in the night was playing in her mind. Who was it? Definitely it was not my dream..

She was bathing, when suddenly she sensed something...

The water from the tap was flowing very hot than usual. She tried to stop the tap, but the steam soon surrounded the whole bathroom and she lost her vision. She felt a sudden stiffness around her neck.
