12. Midnight Walk

A destination, not bound

I strolled the airy night,

The night cried

A wolf's howls.

The sky without clouds,

Stars, bare and brightly shown,

She sauntered in moonlight groves,

As she passed me by

A sent of all the roses,

By the sway of her gown,

Darkish gleaming poses,

She left only shadows, traces,

All but prim,

She rose to the air,

Amidst the heavens

Clothed in stars,

She laughed,

As all I could do was stare.
