A stab, a jab into the food,
The food of thought and dinner,
Picking carrots she wondered
Sipping slowly he stared in awe
She leaned and lingered,
He reached not close enough, but he wondered,
They smiled an awkward stammer
He laughed and followed suit,
She coughed as a damsel would,
A slight change of words
And lingered a four letter word.
