That one span in my mind,
The present past I can't seem to leave behind
Until I've turned to catch your sight,
The lock between our eyes,
The slow sinking, deep and appealing
I've escaped,
Leaving the present reprieve
To drown in your emerald lights,
Captivated and happily,
Lost forever,
Your eyes.
