Chapter 16

Virgo (Liam) POV

It's been a week since we arrived and the tension that surrounded us is now gone. You can say we all get along just fine, everything's running smoothly. But when will Russell call us? He did say in a week or two.

"Hey Liam" Daniel says as he walks down the stairs. Everyone is already here in the living room we were just waiting on him. I called a group meeting so that's why they're all here.

"Hey" I reply concentrated on connecting the laptop onto the TV screen. "Got it" I whisper and they hear me.

"What are you doing" Niall asks and stands behind me trying to decipher my every move. He has a sandwich in his hand and I ask myself how he manages to never get full. He's always eating.

"Well we don't know much about Russell, and Daniel asked me to look into his profile" I say and they continue sitting down. "All the internet gave me was that he's a rich businessman, he owns stocks and it was practically useless."

"So you basically called us here for nothing" Dakota states. I wouldn't waste someone's time if I didn't have anything important. She turns around and takes a few steps towards the kitchen. Wow is she really leaving? Well I'm not going to wait for her and I continue speaking.

"I looked and looked and found out he owns 60% on whiskey production, his company produces high brand whiskey for example Jack Daniels" I say and no one seems amused. Wow tough crowd not even a smile of amazement. I look around and Zayn is the only one who seems into the topic.

"Who owns the other 40%" Zayn asks.

"His parents own that share" I reply. Where was I?

"Was that is, or else get to the point already, I'm getting old over here" Louis says in a sassy tone. Cranky much.

"He owns two clubs, two different buildings apart from the one we saw, one of the buildings is where they produce the whiskey, the other one might be the financing and selling of their product, but here's the thing that building has about 20 stories but everything above the sixth floor says its storage" I say hoping they caught on to what sparked my curiosity. I also display a picture for them on the TV screen so they know what I'm talking about. As I look up I see a bunch of confused faces.

"Storage?" Kat says dumbfounded.

"That's a whole lot of space for storage" Niall says.

"What else did you find" Theo asks hoping I can solve this whole storage business.

"He was caught stealing at 16 and went to juvie, but of course his parents bailed him out" is all I answer back.

"How'd you find all of that" Maria asks knowing that the internet didn't provide all of the information I found.

Remember where we first met at that building, well I hacked into their files and everything went on from there" I say.

"Wait you're a hacker" Mariela says surprised at her discovery. I nod and she smiles as if proud. "What do you think he has in that building."

"I don't know but I'm sure it's not used for storage" I say and the doorbell rings. Oh shit. I quickly unhook the laptop from the TV and shut everything off.

Scorpio (Maria) POV

I hear the doorbell ring. I bet it's Russell but why doesn't he just open the door. Doesn't he have a key? I was roaming around the house earlier trying to see what places I haven't discovered until I remembered Liam's team meeting.

I wonder what Russell hides in that building because I know for sure it's not used for storage. Daniel opens the door and Russell enters followed by his security. His eyes roam around the room as if looking for something.
