LOST DAWN

Chapter Six

I twirled in the full length mirror; I was wearing a middle of thigh length black skirt with a white shirt and a black sleeveless cardigan. The top three buttons of the shirt were undone which showed the top part of my breasts, but really I couldn’t care less. The Rosario dangled gracefully from my neck,

“Try pulling it off Alexia?” asked Kira; I looked down.

“Why wouldn’t it call you out.” I said confused,

“You have a lot to learn child, pull it and see if it does anything.” I gripped the Rosario with my right hand and tugged hard, the Rosario stayed on the chain.

“It’s not coming off, why?”

“That’s because it’s for when you release me, when you feel rage you pull it comes off. You feel really upset pull and it comes off. And I am not going to say the last because I guess you wouldn’t want to here it.” I frowned,

“No tell me I am interested to learn.”

“Ok but you asked me, the last one is if you feel so much lust which means sexual craving you pull it’ll come off.” I felt my mouth drop open; I closed it quickly.

“That’s a bit much isn’t it?”

“Well different emotions affect other Vampires, so don’t blame me it’s what triggers me.” I walked back into my room and sat at the dressing table,

“So what make up do you think will look best?” yeah I know I never mentioned that John got me Make up while he was out I guess it wasn’t important enough to mention,

“I’d go with the red lipstick, it’ll suit you. And put on some mascara and eye liner, if you want I can help put it on you.” Now I was confused, I was learning so much it hurt my head.

“How do you do that?” I said,

“Well take off the necklace and place the Rosario on the mirror and watch the magic happen.” I did as she said, I looked at the mirror but nothing happened. I blinked and then she was there, Kira was looking back at me from the mirror.

“Ok, come closer so I can reach you.” I learn closer and I saw Kira reach out of the mirror and I mean reach out of the mirror. About half her body was out of the mirror,

“Why don’t you just come out fully and help me.” Kira stopped and thought,

“Ok, help me out, but remember I need to go back into the mirror and back on your neck before John even realises what we’ve done.”

“Ok,” I help her out of the mirror and I sat there as Kira did all my make up and hair, at the end I stood up and gave another twirl and I saw Kira give me thumbs up and a slight wink. I helped her back into the mirror and place the necklace back on my neck and put the Rosario back in its place on top of my breasts.

“Looking good kid, now go and impress John.” I walked out of my room not giving the crumpled clothes in the corner any notice. I walked down the stair, and I heard a lot of banging coming from the kitchen. I walked towards the kitchen and entered carefully, what I saw was John preparing a meal that looked like it was for an army. He turned and saw me and then kept preparing,

“Hey Alexia, you look nice. Did Kira help you?”

“Yes she was a great help, what are you cooking. Do you want any help?”

“I’m cooking for the guests tonight and you can’t with this because don’t want to ruin your clothes and make up you can set the table downstairs.”

“Downstairs” me and Kira said in unison,

“Yes downstairs in the basement, it’s a converted one. For special occasions, head out here go to the stair and see the door underneath it open it and down there. Here’s the cutlery.” He handed me a box of knives, forks and spoons. I carried them to where he said and I saw the door that I had never seen before and placed the box on the floor and opened it. I saw lights flare to life in the staircase I was to go down,
