Kale's POV
I sat alone, regretting what I said to Kayla. The girl was cute. She had short chocolate brown hair, piercing amber eyes, shorter height, and a little heavier than the girls I had dated, but she had more anger than all of those girls combined. She was a girl you have to respect.
"Hey, kid. Get up," said the voice of the boy from earlier.
"Why, dude," I asked nonchalantly.
"Because, as you were zoned out, everyone else arrived." I looked at him to see him pointing behind him there was another two girls and boys each.
There was a small blond girl with crystal blue eyes. She had a tan that made her unnaturally pretty because her tan was not that overdone spray tan, it was a completely natural one.
The next girl had dark black hair, as black as the midnight sky on a New moon and clouds covering the sky. Her eyes were like molten silver. They seamed cold and distant. She was extremely pale. Like Extremely.
The next was a boy with ash-blond hair. I couldn't tell his eye color because he was smiling so big it made my eyes hurt. He seemed to be very pleased with himself.
The last boy had a darker shade of the other boys ash-blond. He had hazel eyes, but he was only a child younger than the girl-child. What is he doing here?
I didn't speak to them. The only person on my mind was Kayla. So as these kids introduced themselves, I was lost in thought. I didn't care who they were. I was finally caught.
"Kale, are you even paying attention to them?" Speak of the devil.
"Yeah... Sorry. I zoned out again, Kayla?" Why am I nervous. I've talked to so many girls before yet this one makes me shy.
"Dumbass. Can you even tell me little miss blond's name?
"It's Malaya. I zoned out after she said her name, Red flame."
The next thing I knew I'm on the ground holding my stomach.
"I might be the fire elementalist but I'd prefer if you don't call me a Red Flame. Got it?"
I nodded, still in pain. Damn she has a punch.
"Good. Lets figure out this tunel riddle."
She winked...
...at me.
