Kanalo was sitting in the Shadow Realm as talked with Limestone, who is a Shadow Demon, about the twins that were protecting another Realm at this point.
"These kids coming together in their absence," Limestone said.
"I know," Kanalo replied.
Limestone looked at Kanalo. "We can't allow these spirts to continue what they are doing."
"I know, Limestone. I know, but we can not interfere with the plans of fate. You know we are forbidden."
Kanalo looked to the side where a room could be seen as if through a light shadow. There she watched as Julie got ready to become the Elemental of Darkness.

Julie finished buttoning the last button on her pajama top. The feeling of being watched was making a hole through her body. It had been a week and she could still feel it. Those eyes that just made her want to cringe away from the light. Julie just shrugged it off as a feeling of mistrust towards the other people here.
But this kept on bugging her throughout the night.
When she fell asleep, the felling only got worse with her dreams. She dreamed of a girl who moved the shadows and fought down what little light there was. But that feeling remained. Eyes bored into her back as the darkness swallowed her. The feeling just stayed with her.
Then a mystical voice rang through the shadows. "When it is time your choice will need to be made soon." The voice paused for a second. "In fact, you shall decide the final strength of your new team."
Julie woke with a start. Her hands were gripping her bed, and her body was covered in cold sweat.
Julie had no idea that a spirit stood at the foot of her bed, but this spirit did not wish to be noticed.
