Miles
"We couldn't find anything." The police officer croaked. This was this man's job and he couldn't find nothing. What a damn help. This is my sister we're talking about.
"What do you mean you ain't find nothing?" I growled.
"We're sorry."
I pushed my way through the door.
Dammit. My grandparents left. It's 10 pm. How am I supposed to get a ride? I damn sure can't walk to the house.
"That's him." I heard a voice. They could be talking to anybody. I continued on my way to the house. The car caught up with me.
He pulled out a gun.
"You know what they say. Snitches get stitches."
Then everything went black.
Chardonnay
I itched my hair and stared at the blank sky through the window. I couldn't call the police. Miles ain't answering his phone.
"I'm throwing a party, Chardonnay. You best get dressed." Darius' voice boomed.
"Whatever." I pulled on my sweatpants and tank top and rushed downstairs.
Damn it's already packed.
I heard drunk laughter making its way upstairs.
Kiara and one of her friend's boyfriend was going to a room.
I waited a while by the staircase.
"Aye, you look fine as fuck." I heard a random voice behind me.
"And who is you?" I looked him over.
"Your baby daddy."
I shoved him off of me.
"The fuck.." I saw Darius coming this way.
"You seen Kiara?" He had two girls straddling his arms.
"She upstairs. First room on the left." I bit my lip.
"Aight. Stay here." He left the two girls next to me, and I quickly ran off to the kitchen, ignoring the loud music.
Darius
I opened the door.
"Aye, Ki-" I looked down at the bed.
"The fuck?"
Kiara came over to me and got down on her knees.
"Please, Darius. I'm sorry." She begged for forgiveness.
"Bitch, get off me." I grabbed her by her "hair" and pushed her down the stairs. Once I got down, I kicked her in the side.
"Party's over!" I yelled.
"Get your asses out here! NOW!"
Then somebody burst through the door.
Chardonnay
"CHARDONNAY!" I heard a deep voice coming from the fornt.
"Who is calling me?" I looked up at the tall man.
He grabbed my by my hair and beat meon the stone hard ground.
"Get off me!" I kicked him in his private and ran off, scared to death.
"Chardonnay!"
My dad most likely hired someone to kill me.
Then I stopped running.
I thought of Miles.
I quickly entered Darius' Bugatti, entering the code for the car to start, then drove off to my nana's house.
There were caution signs everywhere.
I quickly got out.
"Where's my baby brother!?" I screamed.
"Where is he?!" I groaned.
The police came over and pulled me to a bench by the grass.
"He was shot. Walking on his way here. About an hour ago."
I broke down crying.
"Why me?" I said through the tears.
"It's..my..fault." I hiccuped.
"What happened?" The cop got his notepad out.
"We ran away from our dad, then.." I calmed down.
"I have to go." I got inside the car, then drove off.
Miles was already dead. I couldn't be either.
