Chapter Four

-Vanessa

[ Week 1: Thursday ]

After practice I received a ride home from one of my team mates. I walked into the house going straight to the fridge grabbing a bottled water and taking it upstairs with me going into my room. I pulled out my clothes going to take a shower as I looked at a asleep Violet. After staring at her for no apparent reason , I went to take my 15 minute shower. Once I was done I blow dried my hair and left it puffy . I guess I kinda have to do it tonight ....even though I don't feel like it .........the flat iron is really far . I sighed walking out of the bathroom and plopped on my bed making weird beat noises.

"Come on shut up Vanessa." Violet groaned sitting up.

"No this is my room too."

"Ugh." She sat up and turned to me.

"What freak?"

"So .. you and Traver , ya'know .. date?"

"Nah , we're just really cool ,plus I'm still talking with someone."

"You really like this cat- I mean this guy huh?"

"Yeah , I mean I know just a little about him but we're almost one and the same."

"Okay." she sat Indian style." Tell me about him."

"Okay." I sat exactly like her."Well he's 17 , he's from LA & his name is Ray. I don't know what school he goes to and I don't know what he looks like. He has two brothers and a sister younger than him. He likes dancing and is a BIG kanye fan. He doesn't like being like others , which is exactly like me and yeah he's just a cool laid back person."

"Damn."

"What?"

"You know so much, it's only been TWO months."

"Yeah and the most I've told him is my age , my school , where I'm from , my birthday and what I like and don't like."

"Wow didn't even mention me I see."

"Sorry , didn't want to get TOO personal to a person I don't know and havent seen."

"Well when's his birthday?"

"I don't know he hasn't told me."

"Well what does he look like?"

"I don't know."

"Have you talked to him on the phone?"

"Nope."

"You're killing me here , I'm trying to help but it's kinda hard with no info."

"Help with what?"

"I wanna help you find him !"

"What ? But he's in LA , we're in Florida . Plus we're in school."

"Um excuse me baby but Spring Break is making it's way !"

"Oh ...right."

"You seem unsure."

"Yeah because back at school I sent him a picture of me , and I don't know."

"Welp , I guess we'll have to see when you get your phone back."

"Yeah......"

[ Week 2 : Monday ]

I laughed with Jas'maria until Traver walked into the school building and I couldn't help but to stare. I think I like him but I'm not sure if it's in just a brotherly way or more. But to be honest I think it's way more.

"Hey girls!" Traver came up to us giving us a hug.

"Hey Traver , bye guys." Jas'maria walked away waving at us.
