[ Week 2 : Thursday ]

I jumped out of bed banging on my parents door as my dad slowly opened it and I hit his chest by mistake.

"Whoops , sorry dad . Anyways , can I -"

"When you get home from school."

"But-but that's hours."

"Goodbye Vanessa." He shut the door in my face and I shrugged and walked away.

I went to the bathroom happy that I made it there before my sisters and I shut the door behind me. I did my hygiene combing through my flat ironed hair and made sure my face was clean. Today needs to go by perfectly . I'll go to school , do what I do , come home and get ready for my date with Traver. OH and I'll get my phone , see ...I didn't fully forget.

I put on my red and black crew neck that said "99 problems & you're 1" , my cragos , and my custom made red and white studded chucks .

I looked in the mirror smiling at myself but was soon cut off by a bang on the door. I rolled my eyes opening it seeing Allena stadnign there tapping her foot.

"Move." She scoffed as she brushed pass me into the bathroom."Oh & pay up."

"Wait , dang." I sighed going into my room getting out my money.

I handed it to her as she smirked counting it and slammed the door in my face. Violet was already dressed by the time I made it back to the room.

"Why are you THIS dressed up for school?" She questioned me as she slid on her shoe.

"I'm going out with Traver after school. Well , I'm leaving with him."

"Well do mom and dad know?"

"No so I need you to cover for me."

"How will you get your phone?"

I made my best puppy dog face as she shook her head no.

"No. Nope I'm not doing it."

"Violet please ! Please !" I begged getting on my knees.

"Fine."

"What? Fine ? That's it?"

"Yup."

"Okay." I shrugged getting back up on my feet.

"But."

"Ugh but what?"

"Sing."

"What? Sing ? Okay." I shrugged."If your happy and you know it -"

"No stop ! Stop !"

" What? I sung." I chuckled grabbing my backpack.

"No." She smirked."Sing a MB song."

"I don't know any! I refuse !"

"Okay fine."She shrugged."Guess you aren't getting your phone till' after that date."

"Ugh . Fine what ever you win." I sat my backpack back down and thought to my self.

What's that stupid song ? What is it ?

"I ain't trynna act like I'm ready for a rela-tionship , but you should be my v-day. One girl that's all I need nothing more and girl I'm talking to you so what'chu waiting for ? C'mere shawty what's happenin' , let's get this cracking. Something something something . Blah blah . Will you be my Valentine's girl ? " I gave her the best straight face I have.

"At least you know half of my husband's part. Oh don't worry I'll get him to teach it to you." She laughed picking up her backpack and leaving the room.
