Chapter 3: A wish

It's been about a week since me and the others figured out Larissa, Ethan, Darien, and Caitlyn's secret. Since then after school we always go on witch hunts with them.

But it's been bugging me. That girl, who was she and why was she sorry. Plus kyubey always ask me to seal a contract with him. "Morning Tyler." Said Ethan. Ever since he became a magical girl oops, I mean boy. He seems to be much happier. "Hi Ethan." I said with heavy eyes. "Tyler you look like your about to collapse." He said, "huh? Oops I stayed up all night *long yawn* finishing a drawing." I said stretching my arms. Ethan just replied with a small chuckle and returned to his seat as our first period history began.

"Tyler!" I heard a voice echo in my head. "Kiera stop mind talking to me during class!" I replied with anger. Since then as well we all been able to communicate through... Our minds if you say. We call it mind talk. "I was wondering what we are doing in history." She said with her cheery voice. "Oh just more of the revolution." I yawned. "Tyler pay attention!" The teacher snapped at me.

"Sorry sir." I said going back to my notes. I heard the class giggle. Ugh people. After that the day continued entail it slowed at lunch. "Ahhh it's the best time of the day!" I said opening my lunch box. "Yeah!" Kiera yelled taking a comp into her sandwich. " so anything new?" Caitlyn ask taking a bite into her cookie. Me and Kiera snapped to attention. "You know Caitlyn don't be greedy." I said with a creepy smile. "Yeah you should share that with us." Kiera said reaching out to her. "Heheheheh." We both laughed. "Ah! Scary!" Caitlyn replied. Me and Kiera where both hit in the head by Larissa and Clay. "Guys eat your own food." Sighed Larissa. "I only packed a grapefruit." I groaned. "Microwaved it?" Clay laughed and making me bust a gut as well.

After that school ended and we where on another witch hunt. "So what's today's job?" I asked with the stick Caitlyn gave us. "It seems like it's a Familiar." Said Darien holding out his soul gem. "This way." He pointed to the park. Everyone splitter into different groups ft today. My group had Darien, Atalia, and myself in it. "Your gonna kick ass!" Atalia said fist bumping. "Atalia language! Jeez what did we turn you into?" I sighed. She responded with a small giggle. As we walked into the park Darien kept leading us through. We came out of the park and arrived at the elementary. "Darien look!" Said kyubey on his shoulder appearing out of now where. We looked over to see that a grief seed was stuck in the wall of the building. It had black mist surrounding it. "Hey guys!" I heard a voice from behind. I turned to see it was Kiera. "Where is Ethan?" Asked Atalia. "Oh he's taking a wiz and I saw you guys! What's up?" She asked. "A witch is about to hatch plus there is a familiar.... And it's gonna turn into a witch, Atalia get back up!" Said Darien. "Okay."she began running I heard her call as well. "Everyone to the elementary there's a terrible situation!" I heard her call. "Come on we need to handle the familiar first!" Said Darien opening the portal to the Familiar's dome. Me, Darien and Kiera all entered. The sky was full of water, it seemed that we where seemed to be underwater, but being able to breath. "There's the familiar!" Said kyubey. We looked over to see a floating puffer fish. It didn't have eyes, it spikes where made of those of pistols, and it began to grow. "Okay let's go!" Darien said turning into his magical form. "Barrier of night!" He said. I saw an invisible like shield form around me and Kiera. " That will protect you, now let's stop this killer!" He said jumping into the air. The puffer fish Familiar them blew it's self up, making it expand. The pistols on the creature started to fire rapidly. Some of the bullets hit the barrier, I noticed that some of the bullets hit Darien and his Armor started to fade. Darien managed to get a few his, but the Familiar manage to knock him down. "Grr." Is all I could hear from Darien Struggling body. The Familiar then in hailed air making Darien beginning able to suck in. But Darien kept holding on to the floor. "He's going to die." Said kyubey. "What do we do?" I ask frantically. "Make a contract with me and help your friend. Either way his blood is on your hands." Said the white creature. "I- I." I was interrupted by Kiera. "Kyubey, I wish........ I wish for the ability to shape shift!" She said clearly. "The contract is sealed Kiera you are now a magical girl." Said kyubey. A white light appeared in front of Kiera. "Grad your soul gem!" The white creature said.
