Ding dong
I hopped off the bed, careful not to wake Savono. I slipped his sweatshirt on and opened the door
Jamie and a bunch of red roses
"Hi,"he said
"What are you doing here? Do you want a death wish?" I whispered yelled
"I came to apologise. I was drunk that night, but thats not an excuse. Im the biggest dick on the planet and im so sorry,"he handing me the roses
"Thank you, and...I forgive y-"
"Babe, who is it?"called Savono
"Uhm, no one!" I yelled
"Thank you, thank you,"said Jamie, smiling
"Okay,"I said, and he kissed me on my cheek
A kiss that lingered there a minute too long
I closed the door and Savono walked into the livingroom, his eyes flicked to the roses
"Mm, no one?"he asked
"It was from...Cade, uh...he sent them to me,"
He nodded and took them from me, "Im sorry?"he read
"Uhm...we had an argument,"
"Sapphire...just stop,"he said, tossing the roses in the bin, "I heard Jamie's voice, why are you lying to me?"
"I...I-"
"If he comes here again, im killing him,"said Savono
"Savono...I dont want you to get into trouble,"
"Do you honestly think i'll do it? I got contacts, friends everywhere,"he said, putting on a shirt
"You're scaring me Savono,"
"You have every reason to be scared,"he said, picking up his car keys
"Where are you going?"
"Out,"he said, walking out the room
I picked up my phone and dialed Cade's number
"Hello?"he asked
"Cade...where are you?"
"Im on my way to...Lee,"
"Oh...uhm, nevermind,"
"Sapphire...what is going on?"
"I think Savono is about to do something bad,"
And I was right

I drove around the whole of Greenvale looking for Savono.
No luck.
My boyfriend might commit a murder, and I have no idea where he is.
I parked on the hill overlooking Greenvale.
"Cyle,"I said, dialling his number
"Hey,"he said
"Do you know where Sav is?"
"He's here with me and Lee, we're playing Fifa, "
I breathed a sigh of relief
"Okay, okay, bye-did you and Lee sort your thing out?"
"Its best if you ask him yourself"
"Okay...make sure Savono doesnt leace your sight okay?"
"Got it,"
I sighed and smiled, at least now I know Jesse's life isnt in danger.

That night, the doorbell rang and I ran to open it
"Hey babe, i've been waiting for yo-"
I stopped when I noticed the person infront of the door wasnt Savono.
It was Jesse.
And he was indeed beaten up
"Shit,"I muttered, helping him inside
"Nice to see you too,"he said
"What happened?"
"You know what happened! You're stupid boyfirend JUMPED me!"he yelled
"Jesse just calm down will ya!" I yelled, "You brought this on yourself! If you hadnt assulted me on prom, none of this woukd've happened!"
"Do you wanna know why I did it?"he yelled
"Why?"
"Because I love you! I've fucking loved you since the first time I saw you...but Sav always gets the good ones,"he said, taking off his sweater so I could clean his wounds
"Jesse, you cant love me, im dating your BESTFRIEND for Christ Sake!" I yelled
"I dont give a fuck!"he yelled
Then he smashed his lips against mine.
And the worst part is...I kissed him back.
"What the fuck?"
I jolted away and came face to face with Savono
He looked furious...which was understandable though...I just kissed his bestfriend
"Savono im sorr-"
"Fuck it, im out,"he said turning around, "I should've finished this thing off when I had the chance,"he said, sending a sting through ny heart
"All you ever wanted, was to get into my girl's pants,"he said to Jamie
"That aint true,"said Jamie
"It is, and you know it,"growled Savono
Jamie got up, "how about you come over here and whip my ass like you said you would...istead of hiring your punk ass friends to do it for you?"he asked
I moved infront of Savono, "baby please dont do this..."I said, cupping his cheeks
"Dont 'baby' me,and I want you two out of my apartment when I get back, and if you dont understand me, I'll get the authorities to explain it better,"he said, removing my hands away from his face
"After all we've been through..."I said
"Fuck him Sapphire! I can give you more than he has...bragging about like a rich bitch, well I got more,"said Jamie
"Juts go,"I said, "this is all your fault,"I said
''Sure, blame it on me, but you're gonna want me back some day,"he said, knocking me out of the way as he walked out
"Savono please, I didnt mean to kiss him-"
"Sapphire, its over...just get out of my face,"said Savono, pushing past me
"So is this the end then?" I asked
"Do you want me to spell it out? Its o-v-e-r, dont you get it? You kissed my bestfriend!"he yelled
"But im sorry!"
"That doesnt mean jack shit! I fought for you, I was prepared to go to any lengths for you...but now its all gonebecause you were waiting for the chance to shove your tongue down Jamie's throat!"
"Savono I love you!"
"Love doesnt mean anything to me anymore...just go, I want you out of my life, because you just fucked everything up,"
I flinched as he slammed the bathroom door. Tears dropped down on my sweater as I walked over to my cuboard to start packing
This is it...its over.
Just goes to show how one mistake can send everything tumbling down, in just a split second
