Sharon's POV:
I was nearly hyperventilating until I saw the pilot burst out of the cockpit and I let out a sigh of relief. The jet landed in a lake so there were no casualties. The next task was trying to wake up my Mum from her trance, I remembered DRS ABC that I learnt at Air Cadets and I checked t0 make sure there was nothing dangerous around and then I checked her response by tapping her collar bones and shouting in both ears. There was no answer so I opened up her airways by tilting back her neck and then I held her nose and put my ear to her mouth to hear her breathing and looked at her chest to see it rise and fall. Great, she was still breathing. Then I called 999 and asked for an ambulance and they arrived in a matter of minutes.
