Fireman Joe's POV:
As soon as I heard the news of an engine fire on a Typhoon. I reacted quickly and started my fire engine. I drove quickly to the crash site and put out any fire that was started by the aircraft and checked to see if there were any people nearby. Luckily no one died as it landed in a lake and I double checked everything was OK and I drove to the RAF base to make sure the pilot was fine.
When I arrived the media was surrounding the boundary fence and trying to get to the pilot and interview him. It was complete chaos and I made my way through the gates. The pilot was left unscathed but he was in shock from what had happened.
