Matt's POV:
I was taxiing in my Eurofighter Typhoon, I fly for the RAF and my job is the best I could possibly have. I asked ATC for takeoff clearance and pushed the throttle levers up and we were soon enough in the air. I retracted the landing gear and came to a nearly vertical climb angle. Until suddenly all power was cut off and we were falling from the sky. I did all the checks and everything seemed to be working fine. I couldn't understand what had caused this failure until I looked out on the the wing and I could see there was a fire. I worked quickly and pressed the button and my seat flew out of the cockpit leaving my plane behind. As I was floating back down to the ground I observed my aircraft falling to the ground and exploding into a fireball in a nearby lake. I'm so glad it hit no highways or built up areas and that I was okay. I landed soon on the runway and the emergency services were there waiting for me.
