The crisp, golden sand was blowing around me with the help of the nice, cool wind. The wind blew the bangs of my auburn, red hair that was in a braid around in the bright sky as I marched through the sandy ground. Over my shoulder, I had an old bag with ship parts to sell at the market on Tatooine, where I was currently at.

After a while of walking, I saw the small village up ahead. I continued walking, letting my brown boots sink into the sand and come back up. I looked at the lightsaber attached to my belt and stopped to put it in the inside pocket of my brown jacket. Tatooine is a place for thieves and smugglers who will try to get their hands on a lightsaber if they see it, and I don't want one of the most precious things left of my father to be gone in the hands of a stranger.

After making sure my lightsaber was safe and hidden, I continued walking until I got to the first building of the village. I looked at the people and buildings until I found the trading post.

"Ah, Amber! What a pleasant surprise! Did you bring my parts?" yelled Hasmago, the smug trader who cheats his way through deals. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Hello, Hasmago. And yes I got your parts after trudging through rain, dust, heat, and bruises to get them." I hinted at him. I go through a lot of work to make this guy happy, and I hope he someday gets it through that tiny head of his. "Wonderful, wonderful. Now let's see them shall we?" And today is not that day.

I growled and threw the bag on the ground and opened it. There were binary motivators, stabilizers, parts of a cockpit shield, ion shield generators, flux converters, and stabilizers. and hyper wave emissions enhancement filters. "Here you go. How much is all this worth?" Hasmago thought for a moment before saying, "I'd say all this is worth...20 credits. You sure know how to find all this stuff."

"You forget sometimes that I actually own a ship, and to own a ship you gotta know the parts to it." I held out my hand, signaling for him to give me the credits. He sighed and gave me the bag. I smirked before saying, "Thank you and speaking of ships, I need mine back." "Ah, come on Amber!"

I glared at him and pointed to his chest. "Hey, we made a deal. I get your parts to ships and you get me the credits AND my ship back. You've had it for two weeks now, I need to leave Tatooine to do other things." He gave me a look and crossed his arms. "Like what?" "Like do jobs for people, help people, and to keep moving so that the Separatists won't be able to track me so easily. You know I'm on their radar after you had me sneak into one of their facilities and steal their info on making their little droids. If I stay here then that means a higher chance of them coming here, and that would ruin your business." I smirked at the end.

Hasmago thought a minute before saying, "Alright, alright. You can have your ship back. Go on ahead." I smiled before running to the ship yard where my ship 'The Fighter' was. I pressed the button for the ramp to open and I walked into the ship. Just before I was about to close it, I heard Hasmago yell, "Hey Amber!" I turned and yelled back, "What Hasmago?!"

He stayed silent for a moment before saying, "It's good to see you again. Great doing business with you." I gave a short nod. "You too Hasmago. You too." With that, I closed the ramp and walked to the cockpit where I pressed some buttons and lifted off the ground. I hit a couple more before taking off and flying out of Tatooine.

After getting out of Tatooine's atmosphere, I set the ship in hyperdrive to Ryloth. I sighed and leaned back in my chair and smiled warmly at my ship. I petted the console and whispered, "Hey girl. Long time, no see. It's good to be back home." I got a soft hum in respond and chuckled lightly before getting up and going to my cabin. On my way there I tidied up a few things that got messed around when Hasmago moved it.

I got to my cabin and dug through my drawers until I found the holobook of the Jedi ways that my father gave to me before he died. I sighed and teared up at the memory of witnessing my father's murder. He was killed in cold blood and I watched it all happen. After he died I ran away from Jahana, where I was from, on a public transport ship that took me to Tatooine. That is when I met Hasmago. And I gotta admit, even though he's a smuggler and a cheat, he was actually the first and only person I trusted after father died. He may act all mean and we might insult each other, but that's how our friendship works.

He knows about my past and about my lightsaber, and to say that he will do anything for me is an understatement. He knows how hard I work and he actually said once that he is proud of me for what I've done for myself in that past 5 years. Our bickering back and forth is just our way of saying that we care about each other. Tatooine is also where I got my ship. When a bounty hunter came and said he was getting rid of his ship, Hasmago was the first one to claim it and he gave to me as a reward for stealing the Separatists' droid data so he could give it to the Republic.

I sniffed and shook myself out of memory lane. I turned on the training droid and had it go to the next part of my training. I ignited my lightsaber, exposing the yellow blade that was once my father's. The training droid showed that I was working on smooth lightsaber technique. He shot stunning lasers at me and I blocked all of them. This went on for two hours until I decided to call it a day. The training droid shut down and I walked out of the room with the lightsaber in hand to the cockpit.

I looked at the hyperspace time and saw that I was 15 minutes away from Ryloth. I sighed and sat down while put my elbows on the consoles and rested my chin on my hands. I closed my eyes and rested for a little until I felt the ship jolt. I looked around and saw that I was out of hyperspace, but not at Ryloth. I panicked and looked at the hyperdrive fuel and saw that it was almost empty. Not only that but the fuel, in general, was almost empty as well.

I growled. "Ugh! Should've checked the fuel before I left." I felt myself falling through space to the planet nearby. I looked and saw that it was Geonosis. I gasped and yelled as 'The Fighter' was falling into the atmosphere of the planet. I tried fixing it, but there was nothing I could do. Suddenly another jolt came and I realized I was being shot at by Separatists.

I groaned as the power cut off. "Oh no..." This is great. Just great!
