"Blake! How in the world have you been surviving on your own?" I asked, bewildered.
"Well Xander-senpai, I was an MLG pro of course." She grinned as I just shook my head and smiled.
"So wait, was your family taken to New York City like the rest of us?" Jackie asked.
"Yeah! So your families were taken too?"
"Yeah," Jackie said quietly.
"So Blake, are you going to stay with us?" Regan said hopefully.
"No I'm going to go out, on my own, in the middle of a zombie apocalypse," Blake said sarcastically. "Of course I'm staying with you!"
"Well it's been fun but know we all need to sleep. Blake, I think you will find our sleeping arrangements, interesting." I stated. After we had finished telling Blake how we were going to sleep, she looked from couple to couple as a mischievous grin grew on her face.
"So you are sleeping together." Blake summed up.
"No- ok yes" Gregory said looking at Alicia. "But if one of us gets hot, an I mean in temperature, move to the outside of our little huddle ok?" There was a chorus of approval then we all crawled back into the trunk of the van.

Later that night, my shift had passed and I went and woke up Regan, who had the last shift.
"Hey, hey Regan. It's your turn for watch duty." I said gently.
"Ok," she said sleepily.
"Do you want me to stay up with you?" I asked.
"Yes please." She said, now sitting up and crawling back the the rear window of the van.
"So, how are you doing." I inquired.
"I just can't believe that my family is gone! I mean they took my dogs but forgot me! Like, what in the world!" She whispered angrily.
"I think we all feel the same way." I answered.
"I know but, it's just so, uhg!" She exclaimed.
"I know, I know," I whispered as I put my arm around her in the early morning dew.

After we had woken everyone, Timmy and Anthony decided to become master chiefs and direct the prices of making meals for the entire day.
"Ok guys! Make sure all supplies are distributed based on strength and size!" Timmy ordered.
"And make sure that the distinction is on weight, not item!" Anthony added.

After about an hour of distributing and redistributing the supplies, we were finally ready.
"Ok, New York City, is that way!" I said as I pointed down the highway. "Are you guys ready for an amazing adventure?"
"Xander, really?" Julia said, clearly annoyed.
"Yes Julia, really," I smirked and headed of towards New York City.
