Timmy's POV
As we walked down the highway, Vera strolled up and grabbed my hand.
"Hey Timmy wimmy," she smiled.
"Hi," I blushed.
"I can't help but question some of the people you chose to follow you." Vera frowned.
"I'm not the leader, Julia is," I shrugged.
"Well your better than her," Vera said smugly.
"Hey, nobody here is better than anyone else got it," I snapped.
"Got it, got it," Vera rolled her eyes and walked away.
"What's her deal?" Blake asked, putting her hand on my shoulder.
"I don't know, but she is real pretty," I said dreamily. Blake scoffed and walked away.
"What? Was it something I said?" I stood there with a confused look plastered on my face.
"Come on baka (idiot in Japanese)," Xander said, ushering me along.
As time wore on, Xander started sneaking suspicious looks at Greg. Soon after that, Xander casually walked next to me.
"Is Greg acting weird to you?" Xander whispered.
"No but you are," I whispered back, Xander ignored the second part.
"But I saw the time on his watch, and it said 3:30 pm! That is 30 minutes later than when he usually makes us set up camp." Xander explained.
"You are right," I smiled slyly.Xander's POV
"You are right," Timmy said with a weird smile on his face. "Greg! What time is it!"
"No! You baka!" I yelled.
"It's time to set up camp!" Greg yelled with a huge smile on his face.
"Nnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooo!" I said dramatically, falling on my knees.
"You idiots! Your all stupid idiots! The zombies are gonna hear you! Was that some stupid skit for your stupid friends!" Vera shouted.
"Take a chill pill," Blake whispered to Timmy as they both chuckled.
"And you!" Vera pointed her finger and Blake. "What are you trying to do! Take by boyfriend away from me?!"
"Hang on a sec. When did we start dating? And when did I become yours?" Timmy asked.
"Well I got that impression when we held hands!" Vera snapped as Saffron gave her a disgusted look.
"Vera, your pretty... mean to my friends and I believe that friends come first, significant others second. So no, I'm not dating you and I'm sorry that you got the impression that we were." Timmy said sincerely.
"Well fine than! Saffron! Come on!" Vera yelled, stomping into the woods.
"Here is my phone number and email address." Saffron handed a piece of paper to Anthony.
"And here is a gun, you'll need it." Anthony said quickly and hugged her as she ran after her sister.
"Will they be ok?" Chris asked worriedly.
"I have a feeling Saffron will keep her sister out of trouble." Anthony wiped a tear from his eye.
"A'ight, time to get to work, we have walked an extra half hour so I'm happy. And I think Saffron is gonna turn out to be a fine zombie hunter," I said, gathering everyone around our camp area so Greg could send us to work.Blake's POV
As everyone started getting ready for bed, I pulled Timmy aside.
"What is it Blake? What did you want to tell me?" Timmy wondered.
"Well seeing you look at Vera like you did, caused me to realize how I felt about you," I said, looking down at the ground, blushing.
"What do you mean?" Timmy said, confused.
"I know I'm not the best. Or the prettiest. Or anything special, so I was afraid to tell you anything. But I do like you." I said, looking up into Timmy's green eyes that glittered in the darkness.
"Ya know Blake, when i, quote-in-quote, broke up with Vera, it actually made me realize something too. It made me realize that I feel the same way about you. Blake, may I have the privilege to go out with you once we survive the zombie apocalypse," he smiled, I giggled. And we gave each other a huge bear hug. We walked back to the camp site holding hands.
