* I really disliked this chapter so I've made quite a few changes to it. Sorry if you read it before I changed it. No one should have to suffer through that. :)

Olivia's POV*

You've done it now Liv! Just had to storm into the middle of everything and start making threats you can't follow up on now didn't you? There was no way in hell you'd be able to make a tornado if the old man called this bluff. Then where would we be? Down shit creek without a paddle that's where.

These thoughts ate at me on the short trip back to the room I had woken up in. I figured that was the best place to be so that they'd know where to find me should they take my threats seriously. I hoped they're fear of what they thought I could do was enough to let me see Jason. The hail was the biggest thing I'd ever been able to drum up and even then I was so blinded by rage that I doubted I'd be able to recreate it without that feeling fuelling me. God, I just needed to make sure the kid was alright. If they'd hurt a single hair on his head I'd not have any trouble summoning up that rage I'd felt earlier. Now though I just had to wait. Let them come to me.

Rivers POV*

After the enraged Pixie had made her dramatic exit, leaving the rest of us in a state of awe and confusion and in some cases rage. Bill, though furious that his charity case had "The audacity to threaten me after what I've done for her" that's a direct quote, decided to go and get the kid from wherever the hell he was keeping him. I was almost tempted to remind him that all he had done for her was keep her locked up for hours and refuse to let her see her brother.

Somehow I didn't see that going down well. The rest of us who were susceptible to short stacks Jedi mind tricks were up against the wall as a safety precaution. Bill was apparently 70% sure that the kid needed contact to do any damage and that was good enough for me. Bill walked into the kitchen with his arm around the kid.

He was shorter than I remembered and there was something about his face that made him seem so much younger than I was sure he was. The kid looked so uncomfortable you would think he was getting a hug from Voldemort. Bill knelt down in front of him and placed his hands on the kids shoulders in what I was sure was meant to be a reassuring gesture.

"You seem like a nice kid and I'm sure you don't want to hurt any of my friends." He said , gesturing to us.

The kid only shook his head once, looking down like he was being scolded.

"Good. Now I'm gonna let you see your big sis and I'm going to need you tell her that your fine and that we've been treating you real nice. She's got her panties in a twist and started making all kinds of threats and I'd rather not have to shoot her." Why Bill had suddenly turned into a Texas cowboy I had no idea but he sounded ridiculous. If it was a scare tactic though, it worked. The kid looked terrified.

His head shot up to Bill and the fear in his eyes broke my heart. That wasn't really necessary. I thought , angry at Bill for being unnecessarily cruel. His fear for his sister was palpable and I wondered what it was like to love someone so much. She would die for that kid and he would die for her. I'd never had that and I doubted I ever would. That's the sorta thing you need family for and I had none left and the worst part? It was because of them and their kind. In that moment I couldn't even bring myself to hate the kid but I wasn't angry at Bill either. We had all lost things.

Bill sent Jackson to go get the devil spawn and they returned moments later. Her bursting through the door first, obviously desperate to see her brother.

Olivia's POV*

I'd been sitting in the room maybe 20 minutes when there was a knock at the door. Say what you want about these freaks but at least they were efficient. I couldn't help but be relieved, patience may have been a virtue but it was one I didn't possess.

"Come in" I shouted, just loud enough for whoever was on the other side to hear me. I gathered what was left of my wits after my incessant worrying and tried to look cold and unfeeling. It wasn't that hard as being separated from my only family didn't really give me the warm fuzzies.

The door swung open and one of the guys who I recognised from the kitchen came through. His eyes searched the room until they landed on me and he gave me a weird smile I think was meant to be alluring but left my hands twitching with the desire to punch him.

"Hey Tinkerbell. Quite the show you put on out there, do you do private performances?" He said with what could only be described as a smirk as he leaned against the chest of drawers beside the door. He wasn't unattractive but I would rather eat glass than just sit there and watch while he perused the menu if you know what I mean.

I filled my lungs to yell at him nut before I could get a word out he silenced me with a finger.

"Now now, don't get yourself in a tizzy. If you kill me I doubt Bill would let you see your brother , who is currently sitting in the kitchen by the way"

Before he'd even finished his sentence I was out the door running round the corner and bursting through the entrance to the kitchen.

Everyone was up against the wall looking solemn apart from Jason who was sat at a table and Al Pacino who was leaning against the counter.

Rivers POV*

When her eyes landed on him she broke out into one the brightest smile I had ever seen. Her shoulders sagged as if an invisible weight was lifted from them and her whole body seemed to relax.

She ran up to the kid and hugged him , lifting him off the ground and probably permanently damaging his respiratory system.

"Okay okay get off of me! Youre smothering me, Literally!" The kid said with a chuckle.

"I'm just glad to see you not in any immediate danger. You okay? They didn't do anything to you right? Cause I swear to God-"

"Im fine!" he interrupted and rolled his eyes at her concern. The kid didn't know how lucky he was.

"Well I didn't know that now did I? Have you eaten? I'm kind of craving chinese so maybe when we get out of here we could hit up that new place that opened up over by that organic dairy farm. The smell that comes out of that place is mouthwatering."She looked like she'd forgotten we were there but I had a feeling that her subtly mentioning there leaving was more of a question. She was asking where they went from here without giving Bill any power of her. It was smart. Something I would do.

Bill shook his head and her expression soured "Or we could just eat in." she said brightly although I'm sure even the kid could see how fake her enthusiasm was.

It was silent for a moment when the kid randomly blurted out "Liv, Do you know what they call a quarter pounder with cheese in France?" She looked confused for a moment before recognition passed over her face.

"No, What?" She said with a fond smile on her face.

"A Royale with cheese..... Do you know why it's called that?" The kid replied randomly drawing out the word cheese and now it was Livs turn to roll her eyes.

"Why?" She said sounding bored but obviously enjoying this joke they had.

"Cause of the Metric system" he said simply and they both cracked up laughing.

"Isn't pulp fiction a little before your time kid?" Bill said and Liv glared at him for interrupting their moment.

"Almost forgot you were there Doc brown." The girl said sounding annoyed and amused at the same time. The description was fitting. With Bills white hair he had a striking resemblance to the scientist from Back to the Future.

"What's with all the movie references LIV?" Bill retorted ,emphasising her name. So I wasn't the only one who'd noticed that the kid had let that slip.

She glared at him and looked like she was going to reply when the kid spoke.

"Pulp fiction is Olivia's favourite movie. Mine too. It used to be on all the time when we were staying at the motel in Manchester. Remember Liv?" He said with enthusiasm and Olivia nodded her head with a small ,sad smile.

"Yeah kid, I remember." She said quietly.
