Friends with benefits. Three Simple words that changed Emmy Whitehead's entire senior year.
"Shh, no one has to know," he whispered resting his hand against her bare thigh. "We live in a small town, everyone's going to find out somehow," she whispered back. "Not if we don't tell them about us," he said giving her a heart melting grin. "And what are we?" She asked as he pulled her closer to him. "Friends with benefits," he rasped before crashing his lips down onto hers.
Review~
So long time no, see everybody! Sorry for the delay but things have been swamped lately! Though my very talented 'Short Story Compeition' winner does get first priority for the reviews, even though I almost forgot I had to do it ! But we will just keep that on the down- low...
So as you know, 'Not Every Story Is A FairyTale' is the story that I'm reviewing and I'm so glad that ChangelsForTheBetter won because this was an outstanding book! I am a total sucker for these types of books on Wattpad (they're basically what I live for..)
Any-who!
I literally sat down in front of my heater (winter here in Australia), ate some pepperoni pizza, and read the entire book end to end. My eyes were glued to it the entire time, and it wasn't long and boring, but quick paced and always getting to the point.
I'm really bad at starting new books, but as soon as I started Not Every Story is a FairyTale, I mentally slapped myself for not starting it sooner. It had zilch spelling and grammatical errors, so for all you grammar nazis out there, READ THIS BOOK. The character development was phenomenal, I always knew who was who and their basic background information, sparing me the moments of "who the hell is this character and why is she making out with that guy?" I swear even in my own books I have that problem.
I've spread this book around to all of my friends who have been on a Wattpad frenzy since we are on holidays and they all said they loved it and can't wait for new chapters. I basically spend my free time thinking of what is going to happen next *cue daydreaming at work* and I have gotten some really weird stares. But if they knew how good of book this was, then they wouldn't have to judge.
But back to the scoring! I give Not Every Story is a FairyTale 9 OUT OF 10 STARS, and if you like school drama, soccer, and dirty little secrets then crack open this amazing book.....NOW.
Also I'll link ChanglesForTheBetter's story that she won for my competition in the comments below.
Bye for now lovelies! xx
