Chapter 2 - So much emotional pain

Ray and the adults were sitting in or near the hot springs the adults normally used. He looked at the groups with the two Dan's. "I am having two houses prepared, one for each of your groups. If you want, I can ask Hands to have the pups and kits stay in his pack house. If you would prefer to keep them with you that is fine as well. As long as you are on my property you are safe." He made a face. "Well safe from normal stuff. Whatever brought you here I can't say much about."

Lord Dan glanced at the other section of the hot springs and let his powers test the others. He wasn't receiving anything negative at all. As it was the five little ones were with the others and it looked like they were doing okay. Pam had mentioned to Hands the wolf pups needed to be kept in shallow water and she had been very firm about it. *Pam? What do you think? I don't feel anything negative coming from them.*

Pam was doing much the same thing as Dan was and Hands and Savory had come across as dependable and serious. She had been keeping an eye on them and the others. There was some hesitancy to the two groups but mostly from the meeting new people. *Give them the decision, the kids, and go from there. I don't sense anything negative either.*

Lord Dan shrugged. "It is up to the pups and kits. Beyond that I am not worried. They can take care of themselves for the most part." He had to smile since Amarish was sitting in one of the older girl's laps getting his ears petted. Amariah was yipping at the little girl who had brought the robes and Nuzzle was barking and growling back. It was almost amusing.

His Nang was relaxing on the edge of the pool though it was a bit disturbing since at the moment she wasn't solid. Even though her legs were in the water the surface of the water was undisturbed. The neko named Nang had come over and they were quietly talking though he didn't know what was being said. For now, he chose to ignore them. To be honest he was starting to feel tired and worn out. Some food would be good. Thankfully he had gotten someone to bring him a bottle of some of this world's spirits.

Alpha Dan had an arm around Tigger and Oreo since Nang was talking to the... He wasn't really sure what to call her. At the moment he was feeling almost as tired as the other Dan was and it was making him grumpy. He did respond to Ray though. "That is greatly appreciated. I know I am starting to get tired and would like to head to bed shortly with my mates." Since he could feel the other Dan's eyes on him he gave both Tigger and Oreo a good kiss.

Ray nodded. "In that case I am going to ask Daisy and Aqua to escort you to your houses. Both are what we call Liraque and are..." He frowned slightly since he wasn't sure how to explain them to the others. "Um, think of them as personal assistants with empathic abilities. There is more to it than that but it will give you an idea. Normally they report to Vyra and Spike but for this evening they will help to make you comfortable." He stood and walked out of the water as did several of his females.

When the two Dan's stood and started to walk out both could feel a number of eyes looking at them. Almost together they growled before glowering at each other. "Once a wolf is mated we are off limits so don't even ask or consider asking." Both Dan's glowered at each other again though there were faint traces of almost amusement.

Ray sighed. "I am so getting a headache. I will talk to my ladies but Folician's are not monogamous since there are far more females than males. It is simply how their species works. Don't take it personally if you can, it is simply how we are." With a nod the two Liraque selected a Dan each and led them off to their houses. "Oh and I will ensure Hands knows not to separate the pups."

Both groups of adults raised an eyebrow at that and both Alpha's were smacked by their mates. "Don't even consider it Dan or you will be sleeping in the yard for however long we are here." Pam yipped at him much to Nang's amusement.
