Mashup - fur fun and excitement!

Prologue

Dan and Pam were asleep in their bed back at the pack house. As they were sleeping Dan was having some odd dreams. For some reason he was dreaming of some skeleton thing laughing a rather scary 'Muwahahahaha' sound over something. When he finally woke up he surged up and found he was panting. Next to him was Pam and she seemed to be tied up in a dream as well. Dan reached over and touched her shoulder and lightly jiggled it to try and wake her up. When she also sat up with a gasp he wasn't pleased. "Pam, you okay?"

She had to give her body a good shake and leaned against her mate before she could really speak. "Sorry Dan but I had some really weird dream about something with a really evil laugh. I don't know what was laughing but it scared me." She shuddered as she spoke.

Dan started to growl since that sounded a great deal like his Dream. "Crap, that is not good. It sounds like the same dream I was having only I was dreaming of some skeleton thing laughing a really creepy laugh."

As they were talking there was a sudden surge of power and everything went black.

Mari and Geoff were sitting in their rooms with their pups in their arms. Both babies were growing well and were definitely showing that they were going to be dominant pups eventually. Mari was relaxing into Geoff's arms as he held one and she held the other. Geoff wasn't feeling totally comfortable at the moment since he was feeling a surge in the activity of the spirits. "Mari something has the spirits moving around this evening. Not sure what it is but something has them worked up."

Mari groaned. "Let me guess, something to do with Dan and damn it I want some peace from over active spirits who have nothing better to do. What is it about Dan that makes them so frigging active? I would really like to know why they almost seem to hate him so much." Some time, maybe a few decades of peace, without the spirits feeling the urge to screw around would be nice.

Geoff chortled at her. "Believe me my mother has asked much the same over the last few years... She has a feeling it is to keep him off balance..." Before he could finish there was a surge and blackness overcame them.

Dan, Tigger, Nang, Oreo, and Mari were relaxing in one of the hot tubs; the temp was safe for pregnant females, and chatting. It had been pretty quiet the last few weeks which was nice. The pack was definitely starting to settle into the new leadership. The second pack was doing better than it had been for a long time. That had been hard on the pack since Ben had moved over to it and took over. Dan had been called in a few times to tromp on a few people.

Mari was stretched out between Nang and Oreo and she was obviously enjoying spending time with them. "I can't wait to see both of your babies. I am so glad the scans showed the pregnancies are progressing properly." They were having both kittens and pups. Mari really wished she could have some children but that option had long since passed for her.

Oreo wrapped an arm around Nang and pulled her close. "We are so very pleased as well. In just a few months we will have a family." She glanced at Tigger and received a slight nod. "We want you to be the god mother for all of our babies. You have done so much to make all of us feel welcome and cared for. We know how much you mean to Dan as well."

Mari glanced at Oreo and then the others and started crying. Everyone moved over and gave Mari a good group hug. As they were hugging there was a surge of energy and suddenly the hot tub was empty.

Sam and Sakura were relaxing at his father's house along with Adrian, Akio, and Chiyo. Tomorrow was the day they were going to be graduating from high school. It was such an odd thought knowing that they were going to be full adults now. Sue, Hanma, and Flambé were all sitting next to their respective owners. They were again in the hot tub soaking. What was even more interesting Chiyo's mother was there as well.
