I'm cuddling with Kian on the couch. Things aren't totally normal with Alex, but it's not as bad as before. It's been a two months and it's getting to be that time of the year again. The one where I tend to spiral down hill.
I've started eating a little less, and Kian started noticing. The movie makes me jump and Kian's grip on me tightens. He chuckles kissing my shoulder. I shiver in delight and feel myself blush. "You hungry?" Kian asks as the movie ends.
"N-no." I stutter. I don't look up at him as I feel him looking down at me.
"Parker, you can't stop eating." He sighs.
"I know. It's just that this weekend..." I trail off feeling the tears start to leak from my eyes. He hugs me rubbing my back whispering sweet nothings in my ear.
There is a knock on the door and I groan getting up. Nancy is out working with a client, so it's just Kian and I. I open the door and freeze in my spot. There my aunt and uncle stand with my cousin Leah. She looks bored as she is just texting on her phone. My aunt and uncle give me a forced smile.
"Hello Parker. Are you going to let us in?" My aunt asks annoyed. I nod my head moving out of the way.
"Parker, who's there?" Kian asks coming over. My aunt and uncle share a look before they take in Kian. Kian wraps his arms around me holding me close to him.
"My aunt, uncle, and cousin." I say quietly. I feel Kian freeze, but he stands tall looking at them.
"Parker?" My aunt says skeptically.
"Yes? Are you guys going to come in?" I ask them. They all stand there shocked for a second before stepping inside.
"Who is this?" My uncle asks. I see Leah watching Kian like he is the last drop of water in the desert.
"I'm Kian, Kian Lawley. Parker's boyfriend." Kian says extending a hand, which my uncle takes shaking it.
"Parker has a boyfriend." Leah laughs. I look down feeling myself start to sink into the bad zone. Kian seems to notice and kisses my head.
"Everything will be fine." He whispers in my ear.
"How long have you two been together?" My uncle asks.
"Let's go to the living room." I say leading the way pulling Kian behind me ignoring my uncle's question. We all get settled in on the couches and my so called family looks at me waiting. I hold Kian's hand trying to stay calm. It's us on the small couch and them all sharing the bigger one.
"How long have you been dating him?" My uncle sneers. My head snaps up to him from looking at Kian and I's hands.
"Really? You don't even know him." I say annoyed. They all look stunned.
"Excuse me?" My uncle says.
"You can't just judge him. You can't just look at him and expect to know him." I clarify. He looks at Kian staring him down and Kian tenses next to me.
"Did you knock up my niece?" My uncle questions. Kian chokes on air shifting in his seat.
"N-no sir." Kian stutters.
"Why would think that?" I ask astonished.
"Well, you are defending him so much." My aunt says. "You are also snapping a lot." She says.
"We aren't even there yet." I say blushing like crazy.
"Then why are you defending this... This..." I cut off my so called uncle standing up.
"Stop!" I shout. "You don't know him. He isn't just some guy. He is the one who got me to talk, and who is actually pulling me out of my deep hole." I say before running out of the room and up to my room. I slam the door shut and jump on my bed. I cry. I haven't cried in so long because of my past until now.
