ALEX'S POV!
I walk over to Jack and Mark's apartment and take a deep breath. I knock on the door. No one answers for a cool minute, so I start to worry. As I was about to knock again, Jack answers. I let out a sigh of relief.
"Don't worry Alex, I was in the bathroom." He says. I nod. We walk into the living room and sit on the couch. This is awkwardddddd...... AWKWARD TURTLE! ... We sat in silence for about 10 minutes.
"What do you get when you cross a owl and a rooster?" Jack asks, breaking the silence.
"What?" I say. I'm happy he was the first one to talk. I definitely didn't know what to say.
"A cock that stays up all night." He laughs. I start laughing uncontrollably.
"Wait-Wait-Wait, I have one!" I laugh, calming down from our laughing fit. "How many knees does a guy have?"
"Three"I'm sorry..." He spoke. I put my head down. He puts his finger on my chin and makes me look up at him. I didn't even really get the chance to look because he pressed his lips to mine. I was shocked at first, but then kissed back. We were like this for about a minute. Then Ellie and Mark walk in.! Right knee, left knee, and their WEE-KNEE!" He says, dying of laughter. I start laughing again as well. We told a few more jokes.
"Wait! I have the best joke! Well it's not a joke, more of a poem for you!" I say. He nods and stops laughing a bit.
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Faces like yours,
Belong in the zoo,
But don't be mad,
I'll be there too,
Not in the cage,
Laughing at you!" I winked at him, while laughing my ass off. He started dying of laughter again. After we stopped, we fell into another awkward silence. I looked over at Jack and he was staring at me with a thinking face. He broke the silence once again.
"I'm sorry..." He spoke. I put my head down. He puts his finger on my chin and makes me look up at him. I didn't even really get the chance to look because he pressed his lips to mine. I was shocked at first, but then kissed back. We were like this for about a minute. Then Ellie and Mark walk in.
