Chapter 28

Ellies POV

I awake to the sun shining in through the curtains. I turn to see Mark still asleep. I stare at him for a moment, he looks so peaceful.

I gently place my hand on his cheek. "Mark." I whisper, I get no response. I move closer and plant a kiss on his nose, "Maarrrk." I say in a sing song voice. He groans. "Hm." "Wake up." I whisper. He shakes his head. "No."

I sit up a bit. I begin to nibble his ear. "Markimoo. Get uuppp." He groans again and then grabs me and pins me to the bed, his bedhead a crazy mess. I giggle. "Alright your majesty I am awake." He kisses me gently. I wrap an arm around him, the sunlight warm against our bodies. He pulls away and flops back down, pulling the covers over him.

"Oh no you don't." I quickly pounce on top of him, pulling at the covers. I manage to get them off, but just as I do he begins to tickle me. I try to get away but I can't. Im laughing so hard to the point where my stomach hurts. Im gasping for breath.

"S-stop please! It hurts!" he stops for a moment, "do you give up?" he asks. I nod.

He smiles, plants a kiss on my forehead and gets out of bed.

I lay on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. How did I get so lucky? Mark walks back in with a cup of coffee. "I don't think Alex came back last night." he says. I nod, "oohhh which means she stayed the night over there with Jackaboy." We both giggle

Id already figured they would make up, considering the events we walked in on last night. I sip my coffee. He kisses my head, " I can't stay all morning. I have to go record." I nod, "yeah I should probably upload, its been a little while too long." He rubs my arm before walking away.

I sit down in front of my camera and press record.

"Hey little llamas its your girl Ellie and boy do I have a lot to talk about."

I talk about a few upcoming things im doing and maybe a secret project.

"Lastly, I will be going to Pax Prime this year. Im gonna try to get a panel but that isn't for sure yet. So thank you for watching and I will talk with you soon little llamas!"

I shut the camera off and began to edit the video.

After an hour or so of editing I upload it and walk to my kitchen.
I grab a coke from the fridge and walk to Alex's room, the door is wide open. I peek in but don't see anyone, "Alex?" no answer.

She still hasn't come back? Its nearly 2 in the after noon, I was expecting her back by now, all smiles and blushes. I decide to go over and make sure things are alright.

I walk over and knock on the door. Mark answers. "Hey El's what's up?" he moves aside to let me in. "Alex still here?" he nods, "yeah I saw her walk out to grab some food, she didn't say anything though." I nod, walking into the living room and plopping on the couch. Taking a sip of my coke.

"We should go to the beach. All of us." I suggest. Mark sits next to me a puzzled look on his face. "You wanna go to the beach...today?" he asks, a smirk dancing on his lips. I turn to him, nodding my head vigorously. "Why not? When was the last time we all went out together and did something?" I ask. He sits for a moment, thinking on it.

"Its not a bad idea and the warm months are going fast. Lets do it. Go ask them." he says, I smile and kiss his cheek and make my way to Jacks room. I knock.

Im met with the bright blue eyes of Jack. He smiles and opens the door a little more. He has an OverWatch jacket and black sweats. A heap of bright green hair on his head. "Hey Ellie! What's up?" he asks.

"Mark and I wanna go to the beach. We would like to invite you and Alex to come." I say. Suddenly Alex pops up. "Yes we will be going. When?" i chuckle, "We wanna go today. We can get a hotel up there and then just spend the weekend up there."

"Okay, we are gonna pack then we will meet you in the car." the door closes quickly and im left standing there. I turn and walk back to Mark. "So what's the word?"

"They are gonna meet us in the car."
