"Oh my gosh!!! It's Evee's!!!" Bloom shouted at the top of her lungs. In front if them was a whole group of Evee! Amy and Violet were squealing and Rosy was just standing there with her mouth wide open. "Oh my goodness!!!!!" Rosy finally shouted. Professor Oak laughed and walked over to them. "Ha! I knew that you would love them." Rosy couldn't believe that there were so many. Besides the other Pokémon in the field, almost everywhere she looked she saw Evee's playing, eating, even chasing their tails.
Rosy shook her head and tried regaining her composure. "Which ones are ours?" she asked sheepishly. "Oh! I forgot to tell you-- you can pick any Evee you want. Just find the one you think suits you." he said. Rosy couldn't help laughing at his quirky the professor was. She followed her friends into the field and began looking for an Evee. Rosy looked down and saw one sitting in front of her. "Hi..." she whispered. The Evee smiled and nodded, then it walked away. I guess it liked me...
"Awww!!! Hi there!!!"
Rosy turned around and saw Violet holding an Evee in her arms. It was squealing with delight. "Do you wanna be my Pokémon?" she asked it. The Evee gasped and began nodding vigorously. Violet squealed with delight and gave her new Evee a hug. "I promise that we'll help each other grow stronger everyday!" she said happily. Rosy smiled and kept on looking. She saw Bloom and Amy petting two other Evee nearby. Just as she walked by Bloom saw her. "Hey Rosy? Did you find an Evee yet?" she asked. Rosy shook her head. "No. Not yet." Amy looked at Rosy as she held the Evee she had been petting. "Don't worry. You'll find one. There's 'bound to be one around here." said Amy.
"You and Violet already found one." Rosy said softly. Amy looked down at the Evee she had chosen and smiled. "Hey! I chose it cause it's tough! Like me!" she said. Evee squealed in agreement and fluffed out its fur. Bloom laughed. "I haven't found one either. Hopefully we'll know when we've found the right one." she said reassuringly. Bloom suddenly gasped and looked down. Rosy looked down to see what had surprised her. She saw an Evee bumping into Bloom's leg;and, it appeared to be holding something in its mouth.
Bloom gasped and she bent down to pick up the Evee. "Ohhhh!!! Your such a sweetie!" she shouted as she picked a light pink rose out of the Evee's mouth. Rosy laughed and said, "Looks like someone found you instead!" Bloom smiled and nodded. "I guess your right," she said as she stared at Evee's eyes. "Ha! I found my partner!" she shouted. Rosy laughed as Bloom spun around with Evee in her arms. "Well I'm gonna keep looking." she said as she walked away. I'll find my partner. Bloom is right: I just have to keep trying! Rosy felt felt her hopes rise. Suddenly, she heard a rustle from behind her.
"Hmm??? Anyone there?" She turned around and saw a small bush. It was shaking like crazy. Rosy bent down and moved the leaves from the bottom of the bush. "Oh! What are you doing down there!?" she shouted. Under the bush was a small, frightened Evee. It whimpered as Rosy reached her hand towards it. Rosy pulled her hand back in surprise. "Hey. It's okay. You can come on out." she whispered. The Evee whimpered and took a step forward. "That's it! You can do it." Rosy exclaimed. The Evee gave a half-hearted smile and stuck its head out of the bush. It looked at Rosy and squealed. Rosy laughed softly as the little Evee crawled onto her lap.
"See, it's beautiful out here. Don't be afriaid." she said as she stroked its ears. The Evee squealed and began licking Rosy's face. She laughed again and fell back. Evee stared into Rosy's eyes and squealed happily. Rosy sighed and lifted Evee into the air. It whimpered and tilted its head. "I think I found my new partner."
