Pokémon: A New Quest

Bloom's Little Blossom

Bloom's POV

"Now we know what the symbol on the map meant!!!" Violet shouted as she grabbed her Evee. It must've meant to watch out for dangerous Pokémon! Bloom heard Rosy scream and Amy gasping as she tried to keep calm. "What do we do!? They won't let is through and they don't look friendly!!!" Amy shrieked. Violet looked around at the Ekans and Arbok and shivered. "Can we try and battle them?" she asked.

"What do you think!" Amy shouted as she jumped back from an Ekans. Bloom held Shaymin close and looked at her Evee. "Evee, are you up for a battle?" she asked. Her Evee looked up at her and nodded l despite the fear in its eyes. The girls Evee also joined hers. "They all want to battle!" Rosy said. "Ok then let's get rid of these pesky snakes!" Violet shouted. Bloom looked at her Evee and said, "Evee use Tackle!" Her Evee nodded and hurled itself at the nearest Ekans. Tackle made a direct hit and the Ekans went flying.

She saw Rosy tell her Evee to use Quick Attack and it rammed into an Arbok. Suddenly, the large cobra-like Pokémon's tail lit up and lashed at Rosy's Evee. "No!" Rosy jumped and caught her Evee as it flew to the ground. Bloom gasped and ran over to them. The Evee's eyes were closed and it whimpered as Rosy carried it. "What's wrong with Evee!?" Rosy yelled. Bloom put Shaymin down next to her Evee and ran over to Rosy. "I don't know! I'll look up that move on my Pokédex."

Amy looked over at them and said,"Me and Vi will try and buy you some time." Bloom nodded and grabbed her Pokédex from her bag. She looked at Shaymin and Evee and said, "You two, stay close to me and Rosy." The two nodded and stayed next to Rosy's Evee. Ok. What move did Arbok use? On her Pokédex a picture if an Arbok showed up. "Um- ok. So it says that Arbok is a Poison Type and it can poison its opponent with Poison Sting and Poison Tail!" Rosy's eyes widened and she held her Evee in her arms. "If Evee's poisoned then we need to get to the next Pokémon center!" she said.

Bloom looked behind her and saw an Ekans slithering towards her. "Evee use Sand Attack!!!" Evee nodded and began kicking up clouds of dust from the ground. The Ekans hissed and slide away.

"Guys! I think Evee's getting worse!" Rosy shouted. Bloom saw Amy and Violet rush over and look at her Evee and it didn't seem to be breathing correctly. Oh no, Bloom thought as she kneeled besides Rosy and her Evee. Shaymin was besides it as well, and it looked worried. Suddenly, Shaymin lay a small white paw in Rosy's Evee and its body started to glow. The girls froze and watched as Shaymin glowed brighter and brighter until the light suddenly fadded away. Rosy looked down at her Evee and gasped. "Evee! Your okay!" Her Evee squealed and jumped on her.

"What move was that!?" asked Violet. Amy opened her Pokédex and said, "Its called Aromatherapy. It can cure Pokémon." Shaymin nodded and looked up at Bloom. Bloom smiled,bent down, and started stroking its head. "Good job buddy." Violet suddenly tapped her shoulder and said, "I hate to break this up but we have bigger problems." She pointed at all the Ekans and Arbok. Bloom and the others gasped. Shaymin suddenly jumped forward and looked at Bloom. "What is it Shaymin?" Shaymin looked at the Pokémon in front of them. Bloom suddenly understood.

"Okay then Shaymin! Let's battle!" Shaymin squealed and ran in front of Bloom. "Use Magical Leaf!!!" Shaymin began shot a storm of glowing leaves at the Ekans and Arbok. Some hissed and slithered away. Soon there was only one Ekans left. Its took one look at the girls and slithered away. "Yay!!!! They're all gone!!!! Whoo hoo!!!" Violet yelled. Rosy and Amy let out sighs of relief and held their Evee's close.

Bloom walked over to her Evee and Shaymin followed. "You both battled so well. I'm so proud!" she said as she hugged them both. Shaymin smiled and nuzzled Blooms hand. Bloom looked at Shaymin for a while and put it down.

"Hey Shaymin," she began. "Do you wanna come with me and my friends on our journey?" The moment she said that Shaymin jumped up and squealed. Bloom pulled out a Pokéball and threw it at Shaymin. Its closed up and started rocking back and forth. Come on... The Pokéball beeped and it was still. "Yay! You got Shaymin!" Rosy said. Bloom picked up her Pokéball and nodded. "Thanks for coming with me Shaymin." she whispered. "Come on guys! Let's start heading to Pewter City." Amy said. "Yes!" they all said in unison.
