Why Can't I Shut My Mouth

The loud announcer blares, "A recent uprising in district two. Our recent victor, Cato Hadley,  has left his mark on the hospital wall. Concerned members of society have wondered what this could mean, this symbol painted in black." An image swerved onto the walls of the hospital. It looked liked two circles but two specific parts were cut off. Then, I realized it was two c's. One was Ivory green and the other was royal blue. Through it, was an arrow with a little white rose with red splotches at the head. Under this exotic symbol was Cato's sure fine signature. The screen disappeared.

"So, have any idea what this insult is?" He asked me. Yes, indeed I did. It was a symbol for me. Two c's, Clove and Cato...but he thought I was dead, didn't he?

"No idea." I lied.

"That's a shame. Well, either way, your first mission is to use this on him." He held out a needle. Venom. That is what people use to hijack or control people's mind with. I backed away, frightened.

"I am not going to hijack him." I said. Snow chuckled. "Or, I can have my men do it." The thoughts crowded my head. I had to hurt him or let Snow hurt him, I had no choice. Without hesitation, I made my decision.

"Fine, I'll do this, but I don't want guards to accompany me." Snow shook his head in disagreement.

"But, Clove despite your puny self, I know you'd use your head and tell him, so sorry." Snow said. I wanted to just wake up from this hideous dream, and wish it all away. But, I couldn't wake from this nightmare. I had to think and think fast.

"Couldn't you hijack me instead?" I asked before my brain could catch my lips. Snow looked at me, curiously. Wonderful Clove, you did it now. I thought.

"I mean, if he saw I was in trouble, then he would-" His hands clapped together.

"Yes! I love that idea! Oh, what a thrilling plan you have conspired here! Two star crossed lovers, and the Romeo and Juliet twist to it. Oh, Caesar will weep with gladness over this, won't he?" I wished I would have kept my mouth shut. Snow brushed his hands on the desk and then neatly placed them in his lap. "Oberon, take Miss Clove to the Room." He commanded. Oberon agreed with a nod. An idea flew brilliantly into my mind, as I nodded and headed to the door, with Oberon closely guarding me. I whirled around, and looked to Snow.

"Excuse me? May I please get something out of my quarters before I am taken to this Room?" Snow hesitated, but he agreed. He told Oberon to watch a close eye on me, in case I did anything foolish, such as escape. Snow was being awfully generous, age must be catching up to him.
