Clear, beautiful water splashes up my arms and I can't help but let out a shout of glee at the fact that something is finally going my way.

After drinking my fill I look at the ground around me. It's soaked. I move to a patch of ground that has been unaffected by my watery tirade and sleep, getting the first rest in what feels like days.

The thundering of hooves disturbs me and I wake groggily to dust coated air and a herd of horses. In front of me there are around 15 horses and one man who looks to be around my age with short dark hair and brown eyes.

"Hi, are you okay? I'm sorry to have disturbed you but I must advise you against sleeping out here all kinds of creatures roam, most are carnivorous."

"It's okay, I'm fine b-"

"That's good I thought one of those pesky horses might have stood on you-"

"That's fine but who are you?" I say rushing to get the words out before he cuts me off again.

"Oh err sorry, I'm Quinn nice to meet you."

"June, nice to meet you Quinn, would you happen to know your way around here as I appear to be lost."

"Yes of course, I was just heading back to city. Do you know how to ride a horse, if you don't you can sit behind me on this one."
