Well another day came, with the sun shining hitting against the picture frame of my parents that sat along the side of my night stand. I hopped out of bed and
made my way to the bathroom. My silk gown slid across the floor as I saw Jeremy still laying in his bed sleeping with his headphones on. I brushed my teeth, put on my makeup and did my hair. After that I went into Jeremy's room to wake him up but it seems he did it all on his own. He was dressed and his bag was packed waiting for me to get out of the bathroom. I eventually mad my way downstairs with my bag in hand and grabbed the milk and cereal."Hey Jenna how's it going?" I asked trying to make small talk as I was worried about Stephen and tried to forget.
"Good I guess what about you?" I simply said good trying to avoid eye contact and headed to school.
As I walked to my locker I saw Caroline and Bonnie talking. We talked for a little as I occasionally glanced around looking for Stephen. The bell rang and it was time for History. As I walked in the class I noticed a Man dressed in a black shirt and a pair of blue Jeans standing by the board. I continued to walk to my seat as I notice the one across from me in the back was empty. Stephen hadn't come to school today but I couldn't blame him his brother just killed his best friend.
"Hello students, my name is Mr.Saltzman," he said as he stood tall writing his name across the board. I tried to forget about Stephen but I couldn't get him out of my mind. I felt bad for him and I new I had to see him after school. The day went by fast and school was finally over. Bonnie came up to me after school and told me some pretty weird news.
"Um I don't know how to say this without sounding completely crazy but I'm having dreams of my ancestor who is some how connecting to a pendant." She clammed up quick and seemed scared. I knew I had to be there for bonnie and put Stephen off for a little while longer. I told her to come with me and we drove to my house.
~Jeremy's POV~
"Mr.Saltzman I heard you wanted to see me," I said trying to keep my cool which wasn't that hard.
"Yes, I know that you and Mr. Turner didn't have the best relationship. I see you have a pretty big record." He stated holding on to my huge book of as Mr.Turner put it "HORRID MISTAKES." He then tossed it in the trash and said I would have a new slate. "How about this I am going to give you a chance to bring up your grade but writing an essay on a legend that is told about Mystery Falls. And I can tell you now there's a lot." After our conversation I said Ok and left.
~Alaric's Pov~
I came here to find out more about the vampire that killed my wife and I plan to do that. I'm pretty sure Elena and Jeremy know more than they're leading on. I same that Jeremy left his bag on the floor and knew I had to return it. I looked in the records and found out his address. I headed to his house after packing up all of my stuff.
I knocked on the door and stood on the porch waiting for someone to open."Um Hi, may I help you." A beautiful women stood in the door way. She had reddish orange hair and had the softest tone of voice.
"Hi nice to meet you My name is Alaric Saltzman. I'm Jeremy's new History teacher"
"Oh nice to meet you. I'm Jenna his aunt also his and Elena's legal guardian."
"Oh well nice to meet you too. May I come in." She heard a noise and turned around and saw Jeremy standing by the stairs.
"Maybe some other time sorry."
"It's fine well uh Jeremy left his bag and I came here to return it." I said handing her the bag. As she smiled.
"Thank you I'll make sure he gets it. Have a nice Night Mr.Saltzman."
"You too and please, call me Alaric." I said walking out and heading home.
