The Battle Against Life

The Hospital

The next day I went to school like normal. I tried to forget everything that happened with Vikkie yesterday. I was curious of what happened. Jeremy was panicking wondering how she was doing. Matt wasn't at school since Vikkie was in the hospital. I walked down the P.A. hall and bumped in to Stephen.

"Hey Stephan how's it going?"

"Okay I guess."

We walked to class together and just kept talking. The day was pretty normal Math, Science... and all that stuff. It rushed through until the last bell rang.  I then took Jeremy went to see Vikkie straight after school. I ended up going later.

~Jeremy's point of view~

"Hey Vikkie his are you doing?"

"What are you doing here?" Vikkie asked.

"I wanted to check up you" He replied.

"OK!" Her face was filled with anoyance. She looked as if she wasn't happy to see me at all. I just moved passed and it and took a seat on a black chair next to the bed. She had a big white bandage on the side of her neck to cover up her bite. I stood there for a while and then finally left. While I was leaving the room Elena was coming in with flowers in one hand and balloons in the other.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came to see Vikkie." She answered.

I started to walk and then Elena grabbed my shoulder. "Oh and to pick you up!"

"OK I'll be waiting in the car!" I exclaimed.

~Elena's POV~

I sat and talk to Vikkie for a while. I put my balloon and flowers on her desk. She was talking a lot except for when I asked her what happened. She got all tounge tied. It was like she didn't want to talk about it. She looked stiff and sad. I changed the subject and then after about 5 min. I started heading to the car. Jeremy was sitting in the passengers seat as I started to drive.

"How was your talk with Vikkie?" I asked.

"OK I guessed!" He replied. For the rest of the ride we both just sat quietly. As soon as we got home Jeremy rushed up the stairs and slammed his door. I wondered what really happened with him and Vikkie.  I let it go and went to the kitchen. My mind was all over the place so I just made a sandwich. After eating I went to my room and started to listen to music. Another day passed by. Can't wait till tomorrow. :'(
