The Battle Against Life

The Party

After I finished I dried off and got dressed. I was going going to a party. I packed my purple purse and went down stairs. I grabbed my black jacket off the coat hanger and turned the door nob. As the door creaked open I jumped. Stephan was standing right in front.

"I was just about to knock."

"What are you doing here."

"Uhh, I wanted to apologize in person for running off earlier."

" Its OK do you have a thing with blood."

"You could say that." He said.

There was a awkward silence. We stared at each other for a while and then I broke the silence.

"Uh I'm sorry I forget I'm heading to the sophomore party at the lake." I waited a little bit and then asked "Would you like to join me."

"Um, sure I guess."

We started to drive to the lake. Time passed by quickly. We finally arrived and started to talk. I saw Caroline and Matt by the drinks. Stephen and I walked over and said hi. I introduced him to them. When I looked at Caroline she had that look on face that said "Good choice". Matt on the other hand kind of looked sad and mad at the same time. I saw Jeremy by the table. I told Caroline and Matt that I would be right back. Stephan said that he gonna go get something to eat. Jeremy was sitting talking and drinking with his friends. I saw Jeremy turn to look at Tyler and Vickie (Matt's younger sister.) They were kissing and Jeremy looked mad. Tyler and Vickie started talking. I  saw Tyler walking away and Vickie heading somewhere. I went back to Stephan and we talked the night away. About a half-hour later I saw Jeremy run into the woods. I told Stephan I'll be right back and I started to follow Jeremy. He started yelling Vickie's name.

"What is going on?" I asked.

"Its been about an hour that I haven't seen Vickie."

"I'm sure there's nothing to worry about."

I continued walking then saw Jeremy trip.

"OH MY GOD VICKIE!"

Vickie was lying on the ground, blood dripping from her neck. Jeremy and I carried her to the party after calling 911.

"Some body help!" Jeremy yelled.

Matt walked over and panicked. He's sister could ahave been dead. The paramedics finally arrived. They put Vickie on a bed and brought her to the hospital with Matt right beside her. After the paramedics left I walked up to Stephen.

"I had a lot of fun, but today has been a long day so I think I'm just gonna go home."

"OK, by any chance do out know what happened to Vickie."

"No, by there was a sorta bite mark on her neck and she lost a lot of blood."

"Oh so I'll see you tomorrow at school?"

"Yea sure, bye!" I said as I walked away with Jeremy. He was pretty shaken up. He looked really hurt so I just let him be.

We got home and I just went to bed. Hopefully tomorrow is as hard and hectic.
