Josh woke up alone, sadness still sitting on his face as he got himself out of bed, rolling around till he fell onto the hardwood floor with a thud. He got up to his feet, rubbing his arm which was now sore from the fall. He looked at the clock, nearly 3 pm, he'd slept through an entire day yet he didn't feel even a hint of regret. He didn't care that he'd wasted another day at the hands of depression.

Dragging his feet lazily across the room, he threw on a loose tank top, staying in his boxers and headed to his small kitchen. He stared at a cereal box and his glass of orange juice for countless empty minutes, contemplating his next move. He felt sick as if a part of him was ripped away and thrown into a dark blue sea.

He didn't eat, his stomach wouldn't accept even the slightest drop of anything denser than water. He sighed as he picked himself up and walked back to his bedroom, passing countless picture frames of he and Tyler's memories. Once he made it passed the painful hall of what was once nothing but joy and smiles, he fell on his bed, grabbing his phone on the way down. His eyebrows creased as he saw a missed call from Kelly, followed by a text. With curiosity, he opened the message and read it.

Josh, call me back asap. It's about Tyler.

With anxiety, Josh was dialling Kelly's number at incredible speed and held his breath, terrified. After two rings, a voice appeared on the other line.

"Kelly?! What's going on?!"

With muffled cries and tears running town her face, she spoke lightly. "J-Josh...It's Tyler, he's gone."

That hit him like a fist and he lost his breath. "What do you mean, gone?"

"I found a note on his pillow that said "I'll be okay" and I haven't seen him since. Josh, I'm worried, its been days."

"Don't worry Mrs. Joseph, I'll bring him back, I promise."

It was a matter of minutes before Josh was in pants and out the door, leaving behind everything but his phone and keys. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't sick with worry, Tyler was out there all alone and it was Josh's fault.

Josh walked out of the building and into his car, driving rapidly out the parking lot and into the streets. He had to think, he had to get himself together and remain sane so he could think, for Tyler. Josh thought, where could he be? Then it hit him, the place where it all began, where Tyler felt reassured and calm. He had to give it a shot.

Tyler was sitting in Josh's car, he'd borrowed it for a very special occasion. By his side, was the one of the hottest girls in school, in the entire college in his eyes. He had finally found the courage to ask her out on a date and now there they were, watching over the hills of a high mountain in Ohio, stars bright and shining.

The two young adults got out the car, and Tyler wiped his sweaty palms on his sweater before extending his arm to grab Jenna Black's hand. They went for a walk, thin night air felt refreshing as it entered both their nostrils. At the top of the mountain, Tyler smirked as he leaned over to kiss her, Jenna's cheeks blushing a bright red. The night was a success and Josh was hearing all about this, that wasn't even a question nor debatable. As they walked backed to the car, Tyler's jaw dropped as he saw the shattered glass which surrounded the driver's door.

"Shit! Josh is gonna kill me!" Tyler exclaimed as he rushed to the car, opening it to ensure the inside was flawless. To his disappointment, it wasn't. Some prick had stolen his car radio. Their drive back was quiet and Tyler dropped a satisfied Jenna back home with a kiss.

"I hope we do this again, and sorry about your friend's car."

"Thanks, haha, and yeah definitely."
