~Chapter six~

Denise's POV **
2:32 pm
So far my classes were fast, simple and I got to sit wherever I wanted next to Tami actually but I talked to more people well they talked to me , most my classes I had Tami in but two of them . I was kinda disappointed that I so far I had only one class with Joel he was sweet and funny the whole first hour which made me feel more comfortable about the school.

During lunch I saw Joel with his group of friends which were fine as hell, are all his friends cute? I kinda avoided them because I eat a lot and don't want to sit with them like Eric suggested third hour, I just ate lunch with Tami and her group until the bell rang.

"Walk faster Denise god damnit!" Tami yelled at me playfully "Allow me Im fat Tami." I chuckled while still eating my skittles "I'm surprised you aren't you eat  a lot you know." Tami said playing around but I do eat a lot. I started to walk faster so Tami wouldn't be late to computers while she dropped me off near the music room since I don't know where I'm going most of the time.

" I'll see if I can find you after school , but here is my phone number text me if your lost." Tami said handing me a page with her number in it. "Alright bye and thank you." I said as Tami turned the corner and I walked straight down the hallway hoping I enter the right class and avoid any embarrassment.

I thought I  heard someone running behind me so I turned around to see Joel jogging towards me with a smile on his cute face. "Hellooo Denise what class do you have right now?" Joel said Lord I'm begging you to please have music with the beautiful creature in front of me " Uggh music?" I asked instead of replying.
"Aye I have that class too we can be music buddies." Joel smiled " what the shit is a music buddy?" I asked with a laugh. Thank you lord for answering my prayers.

"Well I'll be your Tami during music. I'll sit next you and catch you up with what's going on." He smirked the bell rang right when we walk into the huge music room full with people. Joel grabbed my hand and started pulling me to where I'm guessing he sits, not gonna lie I wish the room was even bigger so I can keep holding his hand even if my stomach just fainted.

We suddenly stop and Joel turns to face me making me feel like I'm going to shit my self any minute. "You don't mind me grabbing your hand do you?" He said with my hand still in his " No I don't, but keep walking Joe." I told him pushing him to move before he sees my face looking like a tomato. I feel eyes on us but I didn't care and kept acting clueless. "Potato!" I heard someone shout. Wtf who yells potato?

Joel's POV**
"Potato!" I hear Yoandri shout " Joe finally got a girl!" I hear Richard say in a baby tone " that was fast Joe Joe" Erick said joining in with the teasing. "Guys she's not my girlfriend." I said calmly " Then why are you still holding her hand?" I hear Johan say behind us, I looked to see my hand still holding Denise's soft hand then looked at her face which had a awkward smile and was blushing. Blush looks adorable on her... Wait did I not let go yet? I look at our hands and let go before blushing as well "My bad didn't realize." I said scratching the back my neck. "It's fine." She said hitting my shoulder playfully "Oh yeah guys this is Denise she is new here." I introduced her "I'm also single." She said flipping her hair

We all laughed and Richard gave up his seat so she could sit next to me " Here you can sit here next to Joel." Richard said winking at me "You don't have to but since you already did..." Denise said sitting down and putting her feet on the table making me laugh. I could so get used to her goofy self.

Mr. Rogers walked in the room making everyone settle down "Hello class today we have a new student be nice, Denise can you come to the front of the room please?" He said politely Denise looked at me confused, I just shrugged so she stood up and walked to the front of the room. "I looked at your record and it didn't have any records in singing or choir, you mind singing for us?" Said Mr Rogers in a serious but nice tone
