5:02pm
Joel's POV **
After the phone call Denise had with her boyfriend I'm assuming because who else would it be? I should've known she wasn't going to like me. "So what are we watching?" Denise asked me clueless to the look I was giving her which made me a little mad.(media) "A movie." I responded coldly.

"Did you get your period while I was on the phone?" She asked me with sass. Why would she lead me on if she has a freaking boyfriend I actually thought we could be something. I thought of her as my first girlfriend and probably my only. But she pushed my feelings ten feet off the ground." Ya nada lets go in the theater." I told her with no emotion " walk then." She told me rolling her eyes

We sat two rows behind a couple and I just let out a long sigh. Shit that was louder than I meant to let out. "Are you ok Joel? Your acting kinda strange." Denise said in a confused and concern tone. Just tell her Joel and let her explain it....but I can't tell her I'm catching feelings.

"Denise do you have a boyfriend?" I asked her seriously "Nope I'm as single as that popcorn on the floor." She said pointing at a single popcorn on the ground by itself. I mentally smiled at her goofiness "I'm sorry for being nosy but I was listening to you talk on the phone, and it sounded like you were talking to your boyfriend or something." I said awkwardly Denise just started laughing uncontrollably I also noticed we were getting strange looks from strangers. "Oh my god Joel that's just my crazy demented big booty hoe best friend aka bae." She said still laughing. I feel so stupid and surprised by the amount of things she just called her bestie.

"Oh...... I'm sorry." I said awkwardly I was feeling my face turn hot from embarrassment "don't apologize Joe I thought it was cute when you were mad." She said naturally I just smiled widely to the fact she said I was cute "what?" Denise asked confused but with a smile on her face as well.

"You think I'm cute aye?" I said winking at her I saw her face turn red but she tried to hide it "I don't recall actually." She said acting clueless. She could actually be a very good actress a very good looking one as well. "I'm going to get the popcorn you want anything else? Preciosa." I asked saying the last part lifting my eyebrows up.

Denise rolled her eyes trying not smile but she still was. "Just go get the damn popcorn and my Hershey's bar." Denise said I stood up and I took four steps then Denise literally kicks my butt like I felt her little foot on it. "Aye don't be abusive chula!" I said on purpose Denise just crossed her arms and looked at the blank screen smiling.

*Skipping six min of him buying the food*

As I was walking back to the spot Denise and I were sitting at I spotted a guy next to her trying to talk to her. "I'm serious if you don't get your-" I interrupted her and said "Desperate crusty hands off her right now." Denise looked at me then the guy and started to laugh "I told you my boyfriend was coming so you can go peasant." Denise said flipping her hair.

"Are you guys really dating?" The monkey spoke "well no shit smart ass." Denise responded rolling her eyes "yeah so if you can leave so I can be with my girl that would be great." I told the guy he looked annoyed and stood up and left. I sat down and Denise started laughing.

"Well that happened." I said laughing along

*Skipping fifty minutes into movie*

I was looking at Denise while she was watching the movie. I must look like a creep just staring at her. But I can't help myself she was beautiful. The more I know her, talk to her and make her laugh the more I feel like I want her to be mine. I want to her hold her hand I know it's too soon but it feels right.

I looked at her hand which was on the arm rest, I just have to do it or I might not have another chance.

My hand still was slowly reaching to hers I breathed and did it I slid my hand into hers intertwining she didn't stop me or pulled her hand away she was just looking at the movie. Until I noticed her smiling which made me smile I opened my mouth to say something but there was a jump scene making Denise hold my hand tighter for a split second.

I gave her hand a squeeze and chuckled at her."Shut up." She said quietly we stayed holding hands for the rest of the movie. After the movie Denise and I walked out of the theater still holding hands I spotted our moms and we began walking towards them.

6:47 pm

"Que te dije lety ya tengo nuera." My mom said very happy Denise's mom just smiled "Pero ya se acabo el día para ustedes sorry." She said as well "NOO!" I said playing around hugging her not letting go "HELP!" Denise said into my chest I squeeze her in my arms before letting go saying goodbye. Denise's mom had found a close parking spot while my mom found one seven spots behind. On the way home I was just telling my mom about what happened until, we got home I went straight to my room then I got a call from an unknown number.

And I'm going to write a new Joel fan fiction but I still don't know the name for it but I'll probably publish it on Monday but no promises anyways
